went away with them on a few trips and abroad where i also met a couple of other Chelsea with them!

There are times when i wished Bluebeard was my big brother . LOVE the man.

I remember going to WHL when I was about 14/15, last game of the season and we needed a win to stay up. The whole experience was like a day trip to Beirut but the worst thing was we drew....

Weapons, they let you in with these are they weighed a ton, made of oak

one of the worst games against them was a three nil thrashing, all goals in the first half, i think chivers scored a couple and before the game chelsea walked round from the paxton to take on the park lane......... they never got past the shelf

jezza my son, it was the 74 75 season, no chelsea IN the ground, a 2-0 defeat, wilkins misses a sitter but that game did no send us down, but it did not help and at the end the shelf singing "bye bye chelsea" to the tune of the bay city rollers song at the time, probably the worst day in chelsea history

This is one thing that I never understood, it's one thing to get a group of blokes together to have a ruck with another group of blokes but to follow another team is something I just don't get. I've been to see other teams when Chelsea aren't playing - both west ham and the y*ds but only once for each and on both occassions I've felt it very uncomfortable. I don't like their fans (I' ve went with mates but they're different when they're with their club), and I don't want them to win. The craic before and after made it nowhere near an experience I'd want to repeat.

Only being 21 I obviously wasnt around in the 70s and 80s for all that, but reason i dont like them is that there are A LOT of spurs fans around me (Hertfordshire) and they are by far and away the most annoying bunch of supporters I have ever come accross to the point where i have had a few rows with good mates over it.

i never went to support another team, just the opposite, you are always wanting the other team to score and the main reason is because of the booze and it was never when chelsea were playing. The most annoying supporters come from east london, and why do they hate us even more than spurs do

What, Orient?

no, the other team that has not won anything for 31 years, has only got one song and still can't get over that one of their players went to join a bigger and better club

I think of him as a favourite uncle, the one who tells you stories your parents dont want him too....

You're right, thought it was a bit later and we drew but then again I've got Alzheimers......thank God I haven't got Alzheimers!

Here is the game although it should come with a warning for those Chelsea fans still hurting after all these years:

This game was a couple of years before I started watching Chelsea so I don't remember it at the time happily. But looking at the highlights its amazing that we didn't draw at least. We were all over them at times.

I suppose the only consolation is that Spuds were relegated not long after us. I can see how this game probably helped to build our opinion about them though. On the back of the 67 Cup final and various off-field shenanigans...

Thanks for the clip, apart from the result there were some good things in it, Brian Moore, Refs that allow tackling ( ABH)and soooo much hair !!

still hurts to watch that video, but as mentioned in previous posts if we would have won our last two home games against sheff utd and everton we would have stayed up, both 1-1 draws and we were leading in both, still the next season was the best in all my years of watching the blues especially those away games....blackburn,hull,forest,blackpool,york,bristol rovers, etc brilliant
