Thought we should have a separate thread on it.

Draw coming up on Sky Sports

The draw is going to take about 3 hours knowing FIFA, so tedious at times.

I have an odd feeling that England will get an underwhelming looking group that will inevitably raise the expectations of the nation heaping further pressure on the squad before the tournament has even started.

Why do they make things so damn confusing ? just throw them all in a pot a draw them randomnly, it would be a lot more interesting.

Group E would be nice to have, i'm sure England would make it harder for themselves though

Group of Death for England.

LOL

We have to play in the Amazon. An environment with 99% humidity. LEL

Germany's group is brutal. I expect us to go through, but that is going to be a tough group.

My predictions for the knockout stages:

A: Brazil, Mexico

B: Spain, Netherlands

C: Japan, Greece/Colombia if Falcao is in hot form

D: Italy, Uruguay/England, with Cavani and Suarez thinking more Uruguay.

E: France/Switzerland

F: Argentina, Nigeria

G: Germany, Portugal

H: Belgium, Russia

^ Here's hoping at least your prediction for group A comes true.

Uruguay will be very tough, with the finals being in South America.

Italy are traditionally very good at tournaments and generally get the better of us.

They also qualified with ease and are in good shape.

Tough, very very tough.

If we want to progress we'll have to play teams similar in quality to Italy and Uruguay at some point so playing them sooner or later is the same. The important thing imo is that we show some fight and are much better than the disaster of South Adrica.

The impact of the humidity will be the same more or less for any team Europe.

Very exciting draw, looking forward to a brilliant World Cup. Great that England got an exciting group, this is gonna be a lot of fun!
