Fifa World Cup plans: Governing body scraps Gianni Infant...Fifa scraps controversial plan to sell off stakes in its major competitions after widespread opposition to president Gianni Infantino's idea.

I'd be willing to bet the real reason was there were no actual investors, except for Trump's mob LOL.

Europe doesn't care. Russia's oligarchs' are persona non grata. PIF and the Gulf States in general have withdrawn their sportswashing dollars while Trump's war rages on. Infantino moved FIFA away from courting East Asia, burning bridges in the process.

All this has completely undermined Infantino's strategy of transitioning FIFA's funding away from Europe towards the Middle East. He's been hoisted by his own petard.

Hes a grubby little turd thats managed to get himself into an undeserve position of power, I tihnk hes been mixing in the vat of sh*t that are trumps people who have seen an opportunity to use him for a money grab, a useful idiot, apparently a few of the people behind it were also involved in the Super League mess. Its marvelous that this has turned round and kicked him in the balls.

Latest Infantino unbelievable attempt to get support. He has offered the actual final for the 2030 World cup to Morocco in return for their support. Hasn't consulted the other 2 hosts, Portugal and Spain.or anyone else

Portugal and Uruguay used to be my most disliked international football teams, just because they would resort to the dirtiest tactics to win, but I think Argentina has surpassed them easily at this point. This is the most tin pot sh*t I have ever seen 🤣

They don't even see that they are ruining the reputation of arguably the greatest footballer of all time with their antics. Going in to this world cup, everybody just wanted to see Messi play one more time, but within a few weeks, everybody went to wanting to see him cry.
