Dortmund getting too comfortable

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl reveals he plans to sign Anselmino permanently:

🗣" “I will have to pick up the phone in the next few days and will certainly call them. We hope that Aarón will stay on, of course. We have a very good connection with Chelsea.”

Typical Dortmund will offer 5M + 10% sell on or something else outrageous. Not a chance we sell.

I assume we won't sell as he is part of the plan to surround our club poster boy Enzo Fernandez with his fellow countrymen :-)

And we'll accept in the hope they'll give us discount on their next prodigy like they did with the world class Gittens.

€30m. £45m to us of course, when they revalue him in the summer at €90m.

5.5 years remaining next summer.

Bought him for almost £20m.

Yeah. He’s not going anywhere. Rather loan him to a Prem club next season.

  • Get rejected by Guehi and do a PR spin he wasn’t feesable ✅
  • Spend all month trying to get a CB, only for it to fall through and claim you’re happy with the options you have. ✅
  • Recall one of Anselmino or Sarr ✅
  • Sign a child to rot at Cobham or Strasbourg ✅
Predicted every single thing here to happen. And it did.

They are so f**king predictable it makes me sick.

I'm not opposed to this if he gets minutes and doesn't fizzle out as a total fringe player. Unsure quite what to expect. Suggests not a lot of progress with Jacquet, but we need to give Anselmino, Sarr, and Acheampong minutes for their development.

So we recall the CB more injury prone than Fofana

Desperate times call for desperate measures ... and the quest for a successful Argentinian signing continues with Aaron Anselmino !

Measures that fix nothing.

Injury prone. Zero experience, and doesn’t fix our lack of aerial winners.
