If we play like Villa did tonight we might get something as our attacking options are far better…our defence and non existent midfield is the worry…..if Enzo stays…does he play? If we play like we did against Fulham and Brighton I think we’ll get spanked…

We have better options in attack but you just look at Arsenal from back to front and they're just a solid unit. So whilst individually they are not as strong, their attack is super strong due to the cohesiveness of the system and everyone doing a job. Same goes to how they defend. Its bloody brilliant but annoying because its them.

Feel like this is our toughest game of the season, and our squad hasn't fully gelled yet.

 
Defensively we're all over the place still. So I expect a loss, until we can get that sorted.

 
About time we beat these muppets. Hopefully Alonso has a plan and can tighten us up at the back.

Last time we beat them was in 2021, so we're overdue for a win.

 
Question marks over Colwill and his form, but I still think Alonso plays him.​

I don't know. Our attacking players are capable of being a threat to any team. I know Arsenal's defence is the best by far but we will cause them problems. And it's great to have a solid keeper in goal and Martinez always likes to get one over on Arsenal, so none of the usual worries about Sanchez handing them a gift or two.

We have a whole week to get the defence as well drilled as they can be and just hope Caicedo might be available but will look forward to the game and I'm sure we will give a good account of ourselves.

 
Would happily take a point right now, but reckon Palmer might get up to some mischief and set the alarm bells ringing in North London. 3-2 palmer hatrick and havertz/ Madueke to score for them, knowing the ex chelsea player scoring curse. .

 
Well we won't have a midfield so more giving up possession and punting the ball to them like Brighton I guess.

If Alonso was making a point starting Gusto in midfield in the last game how will he react to our debacle at the end of the window? Perhaps Penders in midfield.

I think Gusto started in midfield against Brighton because Reece and Barco had played full games against Luton and Caicedo wasn't ready to start. Assuming Caicedo is still injured I suspect we will see Lavia and Reece start.

 
Arsenal will just tear through of midfield of injured full backs to face panicking Colwill and our heralded front three will not score 3 or 4 against a quality defence. Our wining start ends.

 
We will play a low block and try and frustrate Arsenal. They struggle against teams who just sit back.

Most top teams don’t do that, they didn’t exactly cut through Villa the other night who let in 4 against Brighton.

Villa just didn’t have the quality we have to hurt them on the break.
