BlueCo buy Chelsea FC

Funny, Hall, Marc Guehi, Chalobah are academy grads and all sold, funny, they kept a clean sheet last night for England.
People who will reply that they were not good enough are not very good judges of footballers. That's my take.
Lewis Hall was good enough but we'd wasted enough on Cucurella that we were forced to make it work and Hall wanted game time.
Guehi wasn't better than what we had in 21/22.
Chalobah wasn't starting for us this year.

You didn't see Guehi's Chelsea-like effort against Spain.
you didnt see the form that led to his move to city, us being rumoured to be interested in buying him, or near faultless displays in England shirt at World Cup? Players go in and out of form... they also make mistakes, like you all do in your professional lives. the point you might not like is that an ex chelsea manager started three ex Cobham graduates who kept a clean sheet. Its a bit sad this challenges you to be honest. I think it reflects on the club really well. shame you dont think so.

Totally agree that we need more Cobham graduates but surely you can see the hilarious irony that said 'ex-Chelsea manager' was personally responsible for selling two of the three ex-Cobham grads?

Tuchel told Guehi he wasn't in his plans and he made it clear that there was no pathway for Hall so let him go on loan to Newcastle.

He f**king sold 2 of them after telling them they had no place in his team :laugh2:

Hall was being used, but he wanted to go to his boyhood club.
Exactly.

Hall had >800 minutes of first team action in 22/23 as an 18 year old in a squad containing Cucurella and Chilwell.

From the club website : "The following campaign saw Lewis establish himself in the first-team squad. He made his Premier League debut away at Newcastle and started high-profile away matches against Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United." https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/hall-completes-permanent-newcastle-transfer?ssoc=1

Selecting him for that many minutes, plus in big games, is hardly the actions of a coach that "wanted him gone" ...

Hall's family ties to and love for Newcastle was all over the media in his own words at the time of the transfer.

Not sure if it was discussed on here yet, but I noticed from Companies House documents that Wyss and Goldstein were also terminated as directors when Boehly and Walter left !

Good, don’t know why Goldstein ever wormed his way in.
