Hutchinson had a hard time, its a huge step up for any young player, Carney had previous prem experience and it shows.

Some of the abuse Hutchinsons  been getting on social media is bang out of order, some of our fan base are just utter c**ts.

Carney has the physical side to his game too which will obviously translate well into the adult game. Has Hutchinson been getting abuse for his debut??? Jesus some of our fans are morons, the lads come on into his first game against the best team in England at 1-0 down what are they wanting him to do lmao

There are many idiots on social media who go after anyone who is not white. No doubt some of these morons claim to be "proper chels" as well

There. It's the one thing nowadays I hope every pro athlete manage somehow to deal with it, because it has the potential to absolutely ruin their mental state. 

Didn't Mase get lots of abuse as well? Way back from the "Lampard's son" talk. I don't use social media so I only get to know from here or other sources, but I hope Hutchinson ignores those pricks that think they're fans, or even decent humans at all.

I'm not so sure its anything to do with skin colour, i feel like there is a prejudice with foreign twitter fans about our youth though. The amount of abuse Mount, CHO, Tammy etc. all got/get is crazy. They just want the next shiny toy, not a young talent for free.

This was one of the strangest signings we made in a season of madness. 20m for a random youth product who's played a handful of games and had 1 year on his deal.

And Brighton have uncovered yet another teenage star who apparently has been outstanding today so far .Don't know what he cost but it wouldn't have been a small fortune.

Their recruitment is stunning .

I'd be surprised if he expected more game with us when he hardly ever started for Villa.

Mind you , no reason why he shouldn't start games , it's not as if we are ripping up the league with the present starters

And guess who De Zerbi said was the MOTM for Brighton that game? Billy Gilmour. 

Our decision making under Boehly has been laughable but Tuchel absolutely should have used Gilmour more. Used to put in MOTM performances every debut he made in every competition.

You must have watched different games to me. I dont think the Gilmour sale was at all wrong. Lets see how many more games he plays at Brighton.
On the other hand Brighton have signed the most exciting new player this season, and that's Mitoma. That guy is really fun to watch.

He was named as man of the match on his full FA Cup debut against Liverpool, first Premier League start against Everton and even his first Champions League start against Krasnodar, plus MOTM on his international debut. He'd drop a MOTM performance then not be played for a month, the fact Brighton wanted him is enough of a red flag that we shouldn't be selling him.

Would love to see Chucky in the starting line up tonight. The starting XI needs to be made up of players with a point to prove, the experienced individuals just don’t look bothered at this stage in the season.
