I like Sturridge when he plays on the left, he's looking very good for England.

Farce. Gerrard flashes up as MOM and crowd goes wild. Then all of a sudden announcer stops, and Lampard is named MOM. Crowd boos.

Watched Belgium-croatia yesterday. Courtois in goal, Hazard playing full game, De Bruyne coming from the bench. Ended 1-1.

Hazard was a bit of a disappointment but he was very much guarded the whole game. He had the coat-treatment.

Courtois was very mature although not that much pressure on him. One nice 1 vs. 1 that he very nicely handled.

De Bruyne was dangerous coming on. Nice crosses and he has pace. I like him. Glad he is a Chelsea player. Can't wait to see him play for us in the future.

Hazard was good. He didn't try a lot on his own, as Mertens for example, but his passes were great and created a few chances. Agreed on KDB, he was great, almost gave the match winning pass, just that guy whose name I cannot remember, didn't finish it off well.

It was Mirallas that missed the golden chance...

Also Benteke missed a lot,big difference was that periic scored that kind of chance in the 6th minute and Benteke did not with the same kind of chance... :blush2:

But our superb Belgian commentator, told he had a very good game as a striker, how can that be true if you got 6 good chances and don't score...pfff

Hazard started average, but was a maestro in the second half..a nice combination between De Bruyne and Hazard...

Courtois did an fantastic job and hold us on 1-1....

Dont get too excited, you only beat Wales and I and 10 of my mates would give them a game........
See, I told him not to get too excited.....

Moses may have picked up a minor knock for Nigeria, although he was reportedly impressive in the game. Hope it's nothing major. The game ended 2-2, so if Liberia can pull off the upset next month in Nigeria, then Moses and Mikel get to stay at Chelsea this winter.

How can I proof I was not excited at that moment

I'm one of the guys that still think that we will fail again..
Oh you pessimist....I think you should be much more optimistic mate, Belgium are looking a hell of a side in the making. My comment though was more about it being only Wales, who then went and got battered by Serbia :laugh2:

Del Bosque said he can't find space in his squad for Mata, eh what? How about anywhere! I can't believe he's leaving Juan out.

To be quite honest they are loaded in that midfield and del bosque usually persist with players that have done him well .I mean we know Iniesta, busquests, xavi and alonso have to start .Then there is Silva dispite doing F*** all this season gets a call up because he has been doing good for them in the pass, along with that play actor Cesc .Carzola who i must admit has look good for Arsenal also get a call along with jesus navas .But I think Mata should have been called up but such the better for chelsea he could rest and be fit for Spurs

Why couldn't he have left out Torres as well. Clearly not in his longterm plans, the way he alternated between Torres and zero strikers in Euro 2012 was a joke. No way he's going to be in the Spanish team going to Brazil.

Lamps out of squad vs. San Mario because of a knee injury, hopefully not too bad, hardly any midfield "cover" as it is...

I hope Oscar said to Neymar: - "Come to Chelsea and we can have this much fun every week!"

It'll be interesting to see what kind of reception Ashley Cole gets tonight. Always assuming he gets a game of course. Over the years the amount of vilification going his way has rivalled only that directed towards John Terry. And for what? For his "crimes", the first of which was showing annoyance at lied to by the Arsenal management, the origin of the "Cashley" appellation, you will recall - it was not the case that he demanded another £5,000 per week or else, but that he was promised a pay rise via a gentleman's agreement (if I recall correctly) but heard that Arsenal had reneged on this agreement over his car radio.l

The second of these "crimes" was having an affair (allegedly) and subsequently divorcing Cheryl Cole, who interestingly perhaps, has retained her married name. And for these "offences" Ashley Cole has been labelled an odious human being, everything that's wrong with the modern day footballer, booed by England "fans" and subjected to all manner of abuse at league grounds up and down the country. The wonder is not that he snapped and referred to the FA as a bunch of twats, but that it took him so long to react.

Interestingly, Miss Cole was once cleared of racially abusing someone in a court of law due to a lack of evidence.......

Back then she was still a mere Tweedy. Convicted of ABH but not of a racist assault. Here we have the results of the nation's sweetheart's handiwork:

And this is an extract from the BBC report:

The jury of seven men and five women reached a unanimous not guilty verdict on the racial assault charge but were unable to agree over the alternative charge.Judge Richard Haworth told the jury he would accept a majority verdict and the jurors decided by 11 to one that Tweedy was guilty.

Sentencing Tweedy, he criticised her for showing no remorse over the attack.

He said: "This was an unpleasant piece of drunken violence which caused Sophie Amogbokpa pain and suffering.

KDB just put Belgium ahead 2-0 in a big game at Serbia. Courtois is in goal and Hazard is playing as well. Lukaku doesn't appear to have been selected for the squad, likely due to the knock he has been carrying that has limited his playing time at WBA the last couple of games.
