I interviewed John Spencer, but he was a striker for the Colorado Rapids. Must say that is kewl dude. I was the best interview at the time. Always outgoing to press here in the States.

John Spencer was a very nice man anytime I met him. My favourite players to meet where Zola and desailly after he won the world cup. I must say one of the nicest players I met was frank lebouef. I remember guillit being a bit of a moody f**ker.

Ruud Gulitt at a book signing.

He was pleasant enough. He shook my hand, quick chat and I went away quite chuffed.

Met Peter Osgood on the plane over  to Barcelona for the game in February 2005. We lost 2-1. But won the home game 4-2. Whar a night that was. Was great to speak to the great man and have photos taken. Met Ron Harris at a local shopping centre a few years back - he was doing a signing. Very quiet man but happy to chat. Also met John Bumstead and Paul Elliot in pubs near where I live.

Not a Chelsea player but remember seeing Walter Smith at Earls Court station back in the late eighties or early nineties. At the time he was Assistant Manager at Rangers. He was off to the Bridge. Was happy to talk to Chelsea fans.

I said hello to Ian Britton outside the East Stand after a match. At the time he was the only vaguely famous person i'd ever met.

He completely blanked me the big haired little twat.

Used to go to Carshalton Athletic regularly and chat with Graham Roberts and Keith Dublin about 10 years ago when Roberts was manager & Dublin was their captain.

My young lad (at the time) didn't believe me that Roberts had played for England..

Tommy Langley presented me with an end of season award at my local footy club when I was a teenager. I was wearing the yellow/green CFC away shirt of the time :0)

Roberts was quality at Carshalton Ath, used to work behind the bar when Rangers games were being shown live at the Surrey True Blues Rangers Supporters Clubs which was held in the Carshalton Ath bar.

Didn't Roberts doing a runner with £20k from Carshalton Ath?

The club are a shambles now with its present owner.

on a golf day yesterday with, Kerry Dixon, Ozzie Ardiles, John Lacy, Paul Price and Chris Whyte. Kerry was in good form and we had a decent chat about footie. I am and never will be a lover of S*uds as a team but have to say that Ardiles is a very nice guy and took time out to chat and have photo's taken.

Kevin De Buyne.

Thibaut Courtois.

Romelu Lukaku.

Eden Hazard.

Thorgan Hazard.

Looks like the Robins are slowly taking this site over.

Met Ossie and Chopper Harris in a bar in Copenhagen prior to a Champions League game in 98- they went out there on their own steam with no connection with the club, and were lively company to say the least- boy did they slaughter me for the colourful shirt I was donning.

Gary Chivers more than once when he used to work the taxi rank at Wimbledon Station- he wasn't happy about a former team mate who was working on a where are they now article for a fanzine- he told him don't put me down as a taxi driver because I also do the odd bit of media work- what did his team mate do? Reported to all and sundry that Chivers was

working as a taxi driver.

Ray Wilkins I met outside San Lorenzo on Wimbledon Hill- decent fella as you'd imagine

Dennis Wise in the players lounge at Sheffield Utd once- remember thinking at the time that he looked like a hard little sod- mad eyes on him

Jason Cundy in a pub on Frith Street recently- Christ knows what he made of me cause I was in a state of advanced refreshment shall we say

Oh and John Terry. He and his lovely bird Toni, were in Pets at Home in Raynes Park, choosing a dog basket. The funny thing was, he wasn't wearing he chelsea kit at the time- imagine if a five a side broke out in the store- by the time he'd got changed up it would all be over

Last year my family went to Washington DC, which by a fluke coincided with Chelsea being based there for their pre-season USA tour. My son tracked down their hotel online, so we went there on the off-chance of seeing the players. We timed it just as the bus brought them back from training. There was only a small group of fans outside the hotel, and we got to meet a few players, who were all very friendly. We met and had photos with David Luiz, Ryan Bertrand, Torres, Demba Ba and Hilario (anyone spotting a pattern here?).

I should add we also met Cech, Oscar and Schürrle, which may or may not be significant.

My biggest thrilI was meeting Ossie at Heathrow Airport, just a couple of years before he died. Many years ago I bumped into Clive Walker in Oxford city centre.

And I also met Gary Staker in our local DIY store, which was a bit of shock, as he doesn't live anywhere near me.

My son and daughter once won a day 'training with the stars' at Cobham and got to meet Malouda and Ross Turnbull.

Forgot a few more- Gary Stanley in a boozer; nice geyser- I asked him if he could answer a question that had been bugging me for years- remember reading in shoot that Seb Coe and Clive Walker had a race over the length of a pitch- in football boots. Seb Coe said he wouldn't let on who won but they were both dipping for the line. Gary Stanley replied that he didn't have a clue who won but he was quicker than flasher anyway? Was he that quick? He could strike a ball but don't remember him being that rapid.

Met Batesey a couple of times, once at an airport- he said he'd just heard that Gullit had lost his first game as Newcastle manager- he was grinning like a Cheshire Cat, probably cause it justified him recently outing him as our gaffer.

Steve Kember when he had that bar in Croydon- nice geyser

Hasselbank in Wimbledon village with his brother- he had shorts on- massive legs; he must get dogs trying to urinate up em

Joey Morris off his head in a nightclub up town. Suppose he's alright but you definately not a frontrunner in the IQ stakes poor sod PS Didn't be used be in animal magic, making all those funny voices? Oh no. Just realised Im getting him mixed up with Johnny Morris. I'm always confusing the two. That's me lot

I met a fair number of the lads from the 96 squad. Bunked off school with a few friends to go to the training ground as its near us. Met Franco Zola, Vialli, Di Matteo, Frank Lebouef, De Goey, Kharine, Wisey. Was good times. Beat going to school.

Also randomly bumped into John Terry at a local shopping mall last year around Christmas time. He often shops there apparently from what friends tell me.

Was walking along the first floor towards the escalators as I wanted to go down and grab something to eat and spotted him walking towards me. Said hello briefly as i didn't want to take up much of his time whilst the man was doing his shopping.

Only thing I had on me was a birthday card i had just bought for a friend. Got him to sign it (something that he found amusing) and that was that. He was really nice too. Very friendly bloke. Even commented on my Chelsea shirt I was wearing at the time (old Autoglass era yellow 3rd shirt).

No longer have the card sadly. I think it got mixed in with a load of crap I slung out whilst having a declutter. Looked everywhere for it.

I bumped into Alexei Smertin in Hyde Park in 2004. I was walking my dog, he was taking his young son to one of the playgrounds. As I speak Russian I went up to him and said I was a Chelsea fan and we started chatting. We ended up having a long talk and exchanged numbers. For the remainder of that season he got in touch from time to time to offer me and some Chelsea-supporting mates free tickets to matches - Arsenal away, Bayern home in the CL, Liverpool away in the CL semi are a few I can remember. For the Liverpool match a mate and I were sat with a few dozen other Chelsea players' friends and family members, but in the middle of ten thousand scousers in the centenary stand. A painful night - which would probably have ended with a punch-up if Eidur had equalised at the end (as he should have done).

I've lost touch with Smertin, who is now in Russia, but I'd like to say what a top man he is.

I met Willian and Oscar at a shirt signing in February, they both seemed like nice guys. I was impressed with how good Oscar was with kids, very patient and had a smile throughout even though I'm sure he was tired of having pictures with them.

I also met Zola at passport control after flying back from Florida, he knew that I knew who he was, no one else seemed to notice the blue legend among us! I didn't get much time so I just said to him 'you ledge', he gave me a grin and was next through the line.

I forgot to mention that I met Mickey Thomas at a Wales FA charity dinner in Cardiff a couple of years ago. He was the worse for wear but was thrilled to chat about his time with us. He absolutely loved it at Chelsea. I told him I was at the Bridge for his debut for Sheff Wed when he scored two goals in a top-of-the-table clash in our promotion season, and he described that as the best day of his life.

Met and had brief chat with Albert Ferrer at airport in Moscow. Both of us knackered and gutted.

Not too big on the whole chatting with celebrities thing, so don't know what I'd say to a player if we did cross paths tbh!

Eddie Newton made a few appearances at my primary school due to his 'Soccer school' being there, just remember being proper excited (6 years old) and telling him Vialli was my favourite player.

Gave Mario Melchiot one of my mate's demo CDs when I was about 14, must've been annoying but he was very gracious about it!

Once bumped into Michael Essien in a JD Sports with some of my mates, was just after he'd scored that banger against Arsenal so congratulated him on that

Never met him myself, but I do a lot of football work in schools and heard nothing but great things about how available Ashley Cole always made himself to working with kids

My foster brother has a story he loves about being in a queue for a club, seeing Jody Morris bowl up to the front, not get in and give it the "do you know who I am?" that a lot of young men in that position would. Bouncer replied with "Yep, you're Jody Morris and you're 17, so f**k off". Got time for Jody but that made me laugh. Same thing happened to Raheem Sterling this year lol.
