Strange but my official tickets for this game were in the area between Pat and Kevin Bond!! After about 10 mins jumped over to the side main stand that was full of Chelsea!! Had a couple of close ups on the BBC coverage!! Will have to dig out ticket to see how I was given ticket in home end!!

Enjoyed going to the game but wasn’t expecting what was going to develop during the season! Only missed five games all season, all away Blackburn, Boro, Swansea Gillingham and Leicester. Not bad for 15/16 year old!

 Ah memories. Micky T taking on Leeds at The Bridge, that fine late April 84 Saturday afternoon. 5-0 to the good guys ! :biggrin:  

Micky started the scoring in the 6th min. King Kerry Dixon carried it on with a hat-trick. In the 18th, 23rd and 52nd mins. Paul, Canoville rounded it off in the 89th min.

 
I still have mine. Took it up to the Bridge where most players signed their pictures the following season. They used to come over to the benches during the warmup and sign things, different days.

My first name is Kerry, and still occasionally when I say my name the odd person will joke and say what Kerry Dixon!! It's gradually got less and less as the years go by, the hey day of the mid 80's every body would say it.
