The way Caicedo moves and dips his shoulders dare I say reminds me of a certain midfielder from a few years back Claude anyone ?

Don't think there will ever been another Maka, Caicedo does have some of his skillset though

[Scott Harris]

Sanchez determined to lose the clean sheet.

[JM7]

I’ve been impressed that we’ve been able to control the game..something we’ve not been able to do a whole

[TheBeard]

One post is enough man, keep em trim

I know. I had a message that it wasn't posting..................but it was

Not a chance, Caicedo doesn't smile while he plays

Tough crowd today ... a goal and an assist for our star man and half the forum thinks he's had a bad game and should be rested LOL.

He was doing fine even before the goal.

He's a victim of his own success from last season, but what people need to realise is it shows that we are no longer totally reliant on him to get results. Obviously he's still our best player but it's good to know that if he does have an off game or even patch we have enough to win matches.

[Dr Gonzo]

How has Caicedo not been awarded motm he's been ridiculously good!

[dR3]

This is a statement win, Villa are a very tough side.

Sanchez has to be planted by the PL. He keeps trying to screw us over whenever we are in the lead

/joke

Best game of the season for me - make control. Wolves and Brighton were more entertaining but this is a higher level team performance.

I was bloody livid. Staccato finger syndrome. It's a terrible thing!

Yes it annoyed me too

He was outstanding and so was Cururella, they both did so many impresive things today, i cannot choose only one.

[Gordon Bennett]

Excellent win. Well done Maresca and all the team.

[JM7]

Sky just said that Fofana has done his hamstring

[dR3]

Super happy with this result! Bar some defensive lapses and missed chances, the players put in a shift!

Caicedo MOTM, what a monster. Cucurella a very close second.

COME ON YOU BLUES

[Scott]

Clean sheets are always nice too.

I agree. I thought we were a bit casual at the start of the second half, but overall, that is the most controlled we have looked all season.

[Deino]

How the feck do we have 21 fouls to their 6?

[Sconnie Blue]

This win will be a huge boost for their confidence. This was so long in the making.
