Chelsea vs Barrow (LC), 7:45AM, Tuesday September 24th 2024

I was actually really impressed with Casadei last night once he settled in the game, his stature gives him a presence on the pitch and with a few more minutes in his legs I think he’ll be a real baller. A great option behind Caiceido & Lavia to offer something different.

Here are all the Chelsea player name pronunciations straight from the horse's mouth so to speak !

Terrible draw for us, 99% certain to be Newcastle away

Away to either AFC Wimbledon or Newcastle next round.

So likely Newcastle again in the league cup, this time at St. James park.

I’ll take it.

Yeah is what it is, up to us to perform. Newcastle are good side, but not a great one. Certainly beatable. As Maresca would say depends how serious we are about it

It depends on fixture congestion yeah and if we're serious about it.

Arsenal gets an easy draw; Man City/Liverpool/Spurs not so much

Presumably this will be moved to the Bridge?

Also how do you pronounce Acheampong?

I had assumed ach-ey-AM-pong, but the announcer called him ASH-um-pong.

I wouldn't worry about that given that you can't pronounce McGrath, Doherty and sixth.

Think you've typoed there mate, I'm sure there's a 'K' in Doherty.
