Backwards compatibility is great for me. Loads of old 360 games that I will occasionally get the urge to play but a 360 that I've had since 2006 and only really works when it feels like it. Can't wait to play Fifa 10 on my xbone.

Not every game will work with it either as they are aiming for around 100 titles to begin with.

However they will continue to add new games after launch.

FIFA 10 has next to no chance though.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what people said before Spore was released. Was thought it was going to offer unparalleled freedom and be revolutionary.

Instead it was a set of shallow mini games ending in a big, aimless finale
Ah yes, but NMS has actually shown us the unparallelled freedom it talks so much about. That bit in the demo where he focuses on a random planet and goes there- brilliant.

Spore was a crock of sh*t.

True, but what happens once you get there? It's like enjoying the unparalleled freedom of the rail networks and ending up in Leeds. Actually there's possibly more death and destruction in Leeds.

What you need is a cohesive narrative to tie that amazing technology together.

LOL except travelling by rail in this country is exremely costly. For a one-off payment we will be given a whole universe to explore.

I don't think there will be any narrative to speak of whatsoever. Not that sort of game, more along the lines of Minecraft than Mass Effect.

Then it can definitely f**k off then. :laugh2:

I think it has huge potential and the way it creates galaxies is impressive but give me Mass Effect and limited galaxies with a great storyline (ignoring the ending) over this....if it is what it seems to be.

Nintendo opening with muppets Star Fox which is surreal.

Game looks like it plays great but visuals are a bit disappointing.

I hate that so many games are multiplayer and online co-op focused.

Solid single player experiences are always the best and games dependent on cooperation just don't work (see Evolve).

The reason CoD sells so well is because you can lone wolf and play well individually and sometimes even if your are paired up with complete idiots can go a long way to winning matches by yourself.

Things like The Division and Rainbow Six Siege are banking on people playing together and it just doesn't work out for those who game casually.

This is turning into a big disappointment so far.

Metroid Prime 3DS is multiplayer mini games.

Co-op Zelda.

I won't deny that I've an interest in fire emblem x SMT though

Disappointing as f**k from Nintendo. terrible.

That was one of the worst E3 showings I've seen in a while.

Star Fox was nice, I've no interest in multiplayer Zelda, the half baked spin offs for Metroid and Animal crossing look lazy. Would have been more interested in the Paper Mario + Mario&Luigi crossover but the last games of both of those series haven't been good.

Everything else was stuff we've seen a lot of.

No Zelda U? Are they holding that back for the NX?

heard that the nintendo conference was a castatrophe

tuning in right now for squeenix, hoping for some surprise

Oh right.

f**k it then.

Dreadful from Nintendo. Glad I moved away from them after the Wii. Still got my 3Ds though, excellent handheld.

But console gaming is strictly PS4 for me

As soon as Fallout 4 was announced, nothing else mattered. The rest was just standard announcements, not particularly amazing.

I'm pretty surprised the amount of hype behind Shenmue 3. I didn't think the 2nd was anything special. Not my kind of game I guess.

Have you ever actually been to Leeds? City Centre's great, just because whee I'm from has a sh*te football team with annoying fans doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the Coty

Shenmue annoucement and kickstarter was to gauge interest. After breaking records with funding Sony annoucned they will co fund the game.

Been waiting ages for this, though I feel they need to remastered the old games to give an idea what the hell its about to new fans.

What's so good about it for you? I just don't get it. Help  :laugh2:
