Fallout 4

Surprised people care this much about reviews at all to be honest.

Brother bought me this yesterday.

Never played a fallout game and not really into RPG's so have my doubts if I'll play it for longer than a week or so

Just rushed home from school but I have to take my dog to the vet later. If nothing goes wrong, I should be playing the game again in 3 hours' time. Hopefully I can put a good 6-7 hours in tonight before putting it on hold for my revisions.

My German Shepherd is tempting me to play it on my PC now...

Anyway, I've spent the entire morning (like the days before) planning on which quests and things to do. The last time I've done this was for Witcher 3. Loving it.

Have fun playing this.

Hopefully it'll be one of the first few RPGs that interests you.

Had an offer to join the Brotherhood of Steel and an offer to lead the Minutemen.

Declined both for now, want to learn more and explore further before committing to a faction.

Accept both, usually in a fallout game you can go with all factions and then get to a point where you need to pick one.

What The f**k??? I bought the game from Game so I wouldn't have to download it, i installed it from disc and it's just opened up a Steam download for 24GB. Which will take me all weekend.

f**k sake.

Don't want those pirates to win. O wait it was piratable day 1

Good game so far. Despite playing for a few days now I don't feel I've done too much which I never felt with Fallout 3. Some of the things they've taken out are pretty annoying, such as weapon degradation and reverse pick pocketing a grenade not blowing up anymore

I saw a gif on reddit of someone pickpocketing a fusion core from an enemy in power armour, so the instantly get out, then got stabbed in the back.

If I do end up getting the game, that's something I'll try.

Played for about three hours last night and did no quests, just got lost wondering the wasteland.

At level 11 right now and starting to get a feel for the perk tree.

Want to explore the upgrade system more but need to find more materials mainly screws and aluminum. Need to upgrade my gun and science perks to open the upgrades I want too.

Played about 5 hours of this. I think I'm level 5.

I understand the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system and Perk Tree now (thanks FC!) and am planning how to built my character in the long run. I'm focusing in upgrading my S.P.E.C.I.A.L more than specific perks at the moment - hopefully this isn't the wrong thing to do.

The world is great fun to explore - I just wander around till I see a building with a light on and head to it to see what it holds.

Has anyone noticed how everyone stands up so upright? Weird character models.

One annoying thing is when you use something that was in your favourites, such as Stimpak, you have to re-add it to your favourites when you get some more.

Got a really nice base at the moment.

Struggling to find gears though. Need them for my turrets :/

High charisma is paying off for me, literally.

Getting a lot more caps for quests by being able to talk up the price of doing them.
