I don't think bugs should bring a score down as long as they are patched quickly. Bugs are impossible to avoid in massive open-world games but if a developer, such as CD Project Red or Bethesda fixes them then it's fine. Skyrim was very dodgy on PS3 at launch but fixed soon after. The games tend to have a few glitches and bugs but reviewers show some leniency just because there is an appreciation that no other developer makes games on the same scale.
The Witcher 3 for example broke the game down into three separate maps.
I find the fan fare over the Metal Gear franchise quite pretentious personally and the story line is a ridiculous mess that new comers have no hopes of wrapping their head around.
All three games will win their share of GOTY awards though although personally I think they should all nominate Rocket League.
I'm not a huge fan of MGS - I only think it will win GOTY awards because everyone has said it's amazing. Fallout 4 reviews haven't been as good as Witcher 3, MGS or even Rise of the Tomb Raider out the same day, but it will win plenty of awards because of the hype, and because it's different.
2015 has been a hugely successful year for gaming, much better than 2014. Any of Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Star Wars Battlefront, Metal Gear Solid, Batman Arkham Knight and even Dying Light/Just Cause 3/Tomb Raider/Bloodborne would have dominated last year.
Rocket League is a good shout - I just want that to come to Xbox.
