Pirlo; the way people go on about him i thought he was nearly 50, right near the start of to nights game Jonathon Pearce said he's 33. Is that right?

if it is, then f*** off he's not anything that special!

 
Always rated Keisuke Honda and would loved to have seen him in Chelsea blue. 

Great advertisement for Asian football as a whole. Hopefully it goes some way to dispelling the racist myth that Asian players are only good for selling shirts.

 
What a great game from Luiz! Totally bossed the airspace and later in the game the whole of midfield. Luiz is the man!

Silly post, you cant really judge a players ability because of one game you saw. Your no different from the people who wrote off Hazard because of how he played against England.

He's available for a free transfer too. I know we are already covered in that position but he would be a great for squad depth.

i think we are definitely set as far as AMs go

we have 5 players for 3 positions and all 5 are fit enough to start every game

 
So... It's the David vs. Goliath of this tournament tonight with Tahiti facing Spain. How motivated will Spain be? I reckon they'll play their b-team tonight and give a rest to the ones who started the first match.

Torres is starting so all the people betting 10-0 are probably going to lose their money  :laugh2:

Then again, Torres thrives against completely useless opponents.

Mata, Dave and Torres.

Glad David gets a game, even if it is only Tahiti, he deserves it

 
I expect Tahiti to be destroyed. What a chance to imrove your international goalscoring record this is.

Torres only needs 26 to be their all time top scorer.

Poor goalkeeping, although it was an accurate shot. It was accurate, but not much power behind it, mind you.
