Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27

I’m sure Sp*rs fate is tied to ours in some weird way, everytime we’re sh*t they somehow manage to be sh*tter. It’s incredible really.

Maybe with 2 of the 3 promoted sides looking like actual football teams this is finally the season they go down.

There's only 5 points between us and Tottenham. I'll save any Schadenfreude til May.

Arsenal being reffed differently as usual i see, Rice gets away with booting a player off the ball.

 
Liam Delap looking a different player at Forest. Relaxed, linking up, running the channels. Relaxed the key. Not trying too hard to prove himself at a big club.

Oh, could barely even tell from the replay he stamps on him. Cov got a lifeline there.

 
They have been unlucky though. Hope they give him time. Today's scoreline was never a 0-5 game. The red card changed things. First half was an even game and Vertbuggen made some excellent saves. They gave him MOTM which says everything. They just have not been putting away their chances.

Against Arsenal they lost 3-0 which was not a surprise. Man City, they played their hearts out and only lost 1-0 and Simms and Awonyi missed open goals. They were close to coming away with a fantastic result at City's own ground. The game they will be kicking themselves about is Hull when they conceded that late goal and again missed several chances.

0 points never looks good, but they have been playing well and hopefully as weeks go on, they will get some results. You can look at it this way and also be like 3/4 games have been against European quality teams.

Ditto. As I was saying. I cannot believe the amount of people who were all getting on Lamps back already. He finally now has the win he deserves in a game where most people wrote them off.

 
I thought both Forest and Coventry were very poor. I'll stop short of utter sh*te but they were close.

 
Spurs and Arsenal losing and Super Frank getting his first win have appeased yesterday's disappointment.

Hopefully Fulham get a win against United tomorrow so Spurs go bottom of the table.

You have to laugh at our hierarchy's obsession with the Brighton model. Somehow Brighton buy players nobody has ever heard of and they turn out to be really good. Then after a couple of seasons they sell them for millions of profit and manage to replace them with better players.

So we try and emulate that (and sign a lot of Brighton players in the process), but instead of looking like a really good side like Brighton do, end up looking like a load of individuals who have never played together before. Honestly we could take ALL of Brightons players and their coach but put them in Chelsea blue and get them to play at Stamford Bridge and they would suddenly become sh*t.

But fair play to Brighton. I did have a slight fear Arsenal might go the whole season unbeaten, but that fear was put to bed today so what with that and Spurs losing again, the football weekend isn't quite the disaster it was looking this time yesterday.
