In addition to my Preston North End duties, I've decided to take the reigns of the Argentina national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup which is being held in Argentina.
Argentina have a great crop of players, chief among them my Preston crop of Augustin Barale, Luciano Sandoval, Leandro Perotta and Kevin Cordoba, but have been pipped at the post time and time again on the international stage. They got to the semi finals of the last World Cup, loosing out to the eventual winners Russia, and haven't won the Copa America over the course of the save. They also lost out in the semis in 2014 to eventual winners Brazil.
Started off with a morale boosting romp over Japan, unfortunately my star Preston striker ended up with a torn groin muscle.
