What's Bale got to do with all this?
What's Bale got to do with all this?
The badge is of a grumpy man eating ready salted crisps, supping on a pint of Mild.If we get a badge, membership card and a car sticker, count me in...
Edit: and a plastic wallet for the membership card!
Cool. Can our motto be:The badge is of a grumpy man eating ready salted crisps, supping on a pint of Mild.
I can't believe the English media at times when it comes to the national team. English people, I am sure, are happy with the fact that their team qualified for the World Cup. Congratulations to you all. And then this happens and the same press are already bringing up nothing stories that will do nothing but unsettle the squad. What is their end game here, is it truly bitterness towards seeing anyone do well? I said to someone yesterday, and I think ti is fine to share in here, that the Press were ready to crucify Hodgson and the English team should they have failed to qualify - and now that they've done it the same press are building the cross.I thought it was supposed to have been a player who leaked it, if that's true then maybe it was a disgruntled squad player looking to cause a bit of trouble for the manager, and the tabloids love nothing more then to propagate the false idea that racism is still rife in football.
It's telling that absolutely nobody apart from the likes of "Race for Sport" (who are clearly acting in self-interest to increase their public profile) can see straight away that it was a harmless comment with no racial connotations whatsoever.
I'm very much in the "who the f**k are these guys anyway and why should I care what they say?" camp.
I knew this would happen. Media hysteria had made it into a racist remark. Now there is a large portion of people out there who think Roy called him a Monkey because he's black who haven't even read the story. It doesn't even matter what the truth is any more, you'll have people thinking he's a racist for the rest of his life.Too many people are going mad on Talksport about this today, they don't seem to understand what Hodgson was on about. They heard the word Monkey when talking about Townsend and the first thing that enters their head is racist. There are too many stupid people in the world these days.
People are looking to be offended just for the hell of it these days.
You are clearly getting at Sturridge here, i'm not so sure it was him. If it's anyone then I think it's Chris Smalling.I saw people on Twitter accusing Ash of being the snitch... What bo**ocks... He wasn't even there.
Who did though? Walcott doesn't strike me as that sort of person at all.
Who do we know who plays for England who is a bit selfish, puts himself before his team, and loves to kick up a fuss when stuff doesn't go his way?
Oh wait...
Middle Aged - CheckI'm starting up a group for white middle aged men, slightly overweight, with either grey hair or balding, who like beer and crisps! If I percieve that anyone is not treating me or anyone like me with equality then I'm going to stamp my feet, does anyone else want to be a member?

Im in SP. Do we get a catchy slogan? I love a catchy slogan.
Thanks SP. Mind you, in the spirit of not being offended, I won't mind if someone has a better sloganSpudulike has got the slogan
'You're offended? Get a grip!'
Sorry Moi, we're discriminating against Scottish people that live in France. You're a load of sexist bar stewards! I'm the grumpiest person I know at the moment. Do I really have to have a sex change before I can join the club?
You should have asked how they knew that. People can only guess really.I overheard someone at my work saying the "leak" came via Danny Wellbeck.
