Needed cheering up so I turned over to watch Man Utd fans leaving early and I feel better all of a sudden.

 
A night to forget, suddenly top four looks shaky

We’ve been bullied, Colwill has sh*t himself tonight, Delap gave him nightmares 

Outbattled outfought

Maresca  did himself no favours again with team selections , he’s had a Christmas to forget

This team needs a captain figure on the pitch, far too easy to rile up

Cucurella needs to pack the antics in, it gets the crowd involved

THE TRUTH IS WE GOT WHAT WE DESERVED TONIGHT SWEET FA

 
Very little, if anything, positive to say about that.

Other than Tosin at right back which he paid a very heavy price for, I don't think Maresca got too much wrong with the line up given the last two performances.

What I didn't I understand later was why it was Felix hooked instead of Nkunku. Nkunku did nothing to prove he deserves more playing time but I thought Felix certainly did enough to suggest he can still contribute positively.

Equally Madueke failed miserably to prove a point after whatever happened to see him dropped. Fully expect him to be benched again and deservedly so.

And christ we need Lavia back to play alongside Caciedo. I'm still to be anywhere near convinced Enzo can cope with English football. We have had a number of poor captains in recent years and he might just be up there as the worst.

I agree re Felix. An absolute waste of space. 

 
Disappointing Christmas period pretty standard 

but Everton, Fulham and Ipswich is really poor 

what we do from here is what really counts; I still hope for top 4 

 
Their two goals were stupid - a wrong penalty call and an individual mistake from a player who we all agree is not good enough - but we should be scoring three to beat these. To not even manage it once is embarrassing.

At least we still have the conference league!

 
I'm in the minority here as I think we were done by a non existent penalty, Disasi the clown and some bad luck. We were nothing special but conceded two goals out of nowhere. It's just a blip in form for a very young squad and we'll learn from it. England will 99,99% get an extra UCL spot next season and top five is safe for us IMHO as I don't see Forest keeping the pace with all the others.

The entire league knows he can be bullied.. and they do.. but he doesn’t have bozo movements and generally positioning is ok.. but disasi my lord the moment I saw him in the line up.. it was done.. Maresca also needs to have a plan B .. our wingers are getting doubled up in this formation with no overlapping runs..
