Not sure that was the case, and in any event the goals came from Colwill/Hato's side. Fulham would ordinarily try and attack mostly through Iwobi and Robinson and apart from a late chance for the latter, they had little success.

The first part is true, but for our defence as a whole. Fofana showed last season that he is prone to similar lapses, so for better or worse I don't think we lose much by rotating both of them in that position. The game is played at such a high tempo that 'concentration' only gets you so far, and it is easily surpassed by defenders who know their roles and positions and disciplines well.

Ideally, we get another midfielder so that Reece James can play there.

He’s got quality and attributes to go to the top. Needs game time. No concerns at all if he continues in a back 3 for us. Great performance - well done Josh.

Since the Milan game where he dominated Rafael Leao, he seems to have found a bit of momentum. He is starting to look like the player that is wanted by every club in europe. Making that right centre back spot his own.
