Kendry Paez

What have you read on X now LOL
Ecuador manager 😅

Peaks and troughs. Whether it's form. Fitness. Career. It comes to every player. And that Paez, at 17, has now seen his skyrocketing progress suddenly stall, it doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing.

As we say, the move to Chelsea will happen at the end of the season. Though for Ecuador coach Sebastian Beccacece, Paez's 18th birthday and his departure from Independiente del Valle cannot come soon enough.

"I think it will do him good to get out of here," declared the Argentine, who took charge of Ecuador in August after 12 months as Elche coach in Spain. "I can't wait for him to get out of here. I wish he was out of the country now.

"He has to know how to manage that he is already sold, his age and that maybe there are distractions."

New Chelsea signing Kendry Paez has reportedly already al...One new Chelsea signing, Kendry Paez, has reportedly already almost completed a loan move away from the club, a report claims.

Chelsea also annoy a new signingAs well as annoying and angering the fan base, Chelsea also managed to annoy and anger one new player who has never even kicked a ball for them yet by going back on their word to him, or lying if you want to look at it that way – which it is essentially.

Paez NOT going to CWCAccording to Ben Jacobs writing on his X account, Paez is not in Chelsea’s Club World Cup squad even though he was told he would be.

Jacobs says:

“Situation with Kendry Paez has changed. Player was expecting to go to the Club World Cup last week and then have his future decided. Chelsea have determined he is not part of their squad, with a Strasbourg loan anticipated. Paez understood to be disappointed as summer plans altered.”

Tough break kid, we've signed like 10 more players in your position since we signed you. Sign one, forget him, move onto the next.

The plan was always for him to go to Strasbourg and have a similar development pathway like Santos.

Why am I not surprised though the club promised him one thing and then failed to keep that promise.

The question is whether he was told any of this. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up like this

"I am sure that Mr Winstanley said he would pick me up himself"

EDIT - Apologies i couldn't find an Ecuadorian, hopefully a Peruvian will do.

Unfortunately the people who run our club lack integrity and class. Your word is ur bond. Everything can be taken away from you except that….if of course you had it to start with.

No issue with him spending a season at Strasbourg, the issue is not taking him to the CWC to showcase his talents to the club that bought him. How to perfectly demotivate a youngster before he even gets to work.

Some of your lots reaction to click bait rage nonsense is hilarious.
I am far from sure that the transfer is actually due to be completed until 1/7 . If that’s right he wouldn’t have been eligible.

I should add that there may be problems with the 3 club rule although I would need to carry out a bit more research on the rules to clarify my thinking

The Eucardorian league is some 15 games in and he remains the Ecuadorian team player till 30/6.

Independiente -> Chelsea (24/25)

Chelsea -> Strasbourg (25/26)

Where would the issue with the three club rule come into play by taking him to the CWC? Indipendiente and Strasbourg loans are two separate seasons.

The Ecuadorean season runs from February to December so it’s not 24/25 season at Independiente it’s just the 2025 season.

So it could be Independiete 2025, Chelsea 25/26, and Strasbourg 25/26.
