Nice strike from Stevens to make it 1-0. Liked his celebration too - telling everyone else to stay back whilst he ran to the fans to celebrate, thats just sooo Steven Gerrard. I would have settled for a draw from this game, want Arsenal to tonk them now.

 
Meant to say if anyone wants to wath this game it is on that FSC vhannel via TVU that was so good for the Chelsea stream yesterday.

Oh and Gem my hopes are for a dishonourable draw with punch ups, red cards and Rafa slipping on his a**e whilst protesting with the 4th official

Even better then!! I've resorted to muting my television, it was getting quite nausiating.

 
I wonder if anyone can explain how Mikel's tackle agianst Utd warranted a straight red but mascherano's two footed lunge just got him a yellow. We can add that to the red card Kuyt didn't get against Everton.

 
Arsenal's equaliser well worth watching to see Reina doing an impression of a man looking for his contact lenses whilst trying to save Fabregas' shot.

 
1-1 is the best result we can hope for. 10 minutes left. Any day is a good day when the bin dippers lose but we need Arsenal to drop points as well.

 
Yep, best result for us. Currently 5 points behind the Mancs and with them and le' Arse playing next weekend, hopefully they will share the points and we do our bit away to Wigan

I agree that barring the odd broken leg (or neck in the case of a Certain Sainted One) a draw is the best we could have hoped for.

Having said that, this was another one of those games where it's a shame they couldn't both lose. Time for a rule change, methinks. Decisions for games involving any two of the unholy Red sh*te Trinity to be decided by none other than my good self or persons of a similarly righteously prejudiced persuasion.

 
pefect result for us. arsenal ran liverpool ragged the arse midfield ran all over the liverpool midfield. alan green from radio5 live once again just made a complete arse of himself. heard his umming up of the game on the news. apparently liverpool scored early, arsenal had lots of possession but didnt really threaten (WHAT!) and liverpool were much more effective than arsenal. the mans a complete moron.

not unwholly true that. Arsenal played much the better but reina only actually had two saves to make. It is still Arsenals biggest weakness that they dont create as many chances as their play should warrant. Almunia made far more saves that reina. Having said that the two that hit the post count for something.

 
Surely Benitez must be under severe pressure at this stage . At the start of the season he and a whole possee of Red filth were convinced they had finally completed the building of a side capable of challengeing for 3 major honours and with 45 million spent on players . Disaster in Europe and they have Blackburn away next week , poxy game for anybody so if they lose that , i reakon fatman will be gone before Xmas . I wonder if they still regard him as the Messiah now .

 
Disastar so far in Europe however domestically it isn't as bad as some believe. If they win their game in hand they would go third only 3 points behind Utd and they are still unbeaten in the league which only Arsenal can also boast. As much as I would like to see them collapse I don't think they are close to doing it yet.

 
Lets just hope that a cirtain mr mohrinio doesnt come in and finish the job for the fat controler

 
That isn't going to happen - Jose at Liverpool - more likely to see Titus Bramble at Barca!

Interesting thought though - what say those who hate Poyet for his Spurs antics, how would that compare alongside Jose saluting the Anfield crowd!!
