Morgan Rogers

He could feasibly play anywhere across the front and as a Lampard type 8.

He’s clearly enjoying himself and long may it continue. Baller.

At this point all Alonso needs to do is say to Rogers and Palmer "go out and enjoy yourselves lads", these 2 along with Pedro are going to tear defences apart.

Honestly, I was very happy when we signed and said he will turn out to be a great signing.

I know it's early days but, he makes such a difference to our attack in just the fact opponents have someone else other than Palmer to worry about for 90 minutes.

£117, bargain!
Mad disrespect to my boy JP. 🥲

Good signing that Roger’s Fella!!

Seemed lethargic yesterday to be honest..
Yes, but played a crucial role in the first goal. Shades of Didier Drogba in the way that when he drifts out wide, he is so physically dominant that you have to send a CB or DM to deal with him, which leaves a giant gap for an overlapping fullback or midfielder to exploit. He offers a lot on the pitch even when he isn't at his absolute best.

Worked to perfection yesterday as Hato ran on to his flick, exploited the space behind and played a wonderful cross.

Broadly concur with the thrust of your statement, but for the goal, that cross took a big deflection and certainly wasn't bound for where it eventually reached Neto.

You know it wasnt rogers who put that cross in, right?

Rogers is a top player who has hit the ground running with us.

Want to go on record as saying I like Rogers and I'm glad we signed him. No doubt that when the chemistry is working with him, Palmer and Pedro, they look very special.

BUT, when we are struggling, he does tend to go missing a bit. He's not the quickest of players and I am surprised at how often he gets tackled. Until Pedro is back, we really need for him and Palmer to be on top form and not flit in and out of games like they tend to do. Obviously doesn't help when he has a f**kwit like Gusto playing alongside you, but nonetheless, I want to see a bit more from him.

The absence of Palmer and Pedro has meant a completely different role for him. He hasn't yet adjusted but, given his qualities, he should.
