N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!

Kante, Matuidi and Pogba is an outrageous midfield trio that France have. Payet is also really really good.

Lloris.

Laporte, Varane and Zouma are going to be competing for the next decade. All fantastic defenders already plus Koscielny and Mathieu.

No idea about their full backs. Tremoulinas?

The midfield above. Plus Ribery and Fekir.

Benzema, Lacazette, Martial, Griezmann and Koman.

 
You can also add Kondogbia, Imbula and Schneiderlin.

Apparently he has a £20 million buyout clause in his contract which, if true, almost makes him a no-brainer.

I don't see us getting Vidal which means Nainggolan and one other, and this lad could be it. I'm not one for going overboard after one good season but that price is roughly the same as Imbula (who we should've signed but didn't for whatever reason) and £5 million LESS than we sold Ramires for. 

The thought of him and Nainggolan being Cesc's minders in midfield is absolutely mouthwatering.

 
Nainggolan, Kante and Cesc would be absolutely perfect although we would require 3 very dynamic front players. Costa with Hazard and Griezmann would be the perfect mix but Griezmann an is a pipe dream now.

 
I think he has all the tools in his box to be the next great holding midfielder but I would worry about getting burnt fingers again in regards to second season syndrome - ie Matic.

Also a lot would depend on what fee Leicester would want, and if he would want to leave a team in the Champions League (however short term that may or may not be).

 
Let's just be happy if he stays out of Arsenal's hands. He's what they've been missing for the past decade

I can't see us signing both of them when their are other places in the team that need strengthening.

You're right that there's other areas we need to strengthen but I think we sorely need midfielders. Realistically we've got Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek and hopefully Nainggolan (shouldn't assume but I'm hopeful). Then you've got Matic who could find a new lease of life under Conte IF he sticks around and puts in the work. With Oscar and Mikel seemingly off that isn't a lot of depth so I think we need two midfielders.

 
No messing about just stick a bid in, there will be plenty of teams in for him like Arse, United and European teams.

We are disadvantaged with the CL so it's going to be tough.

Kanté is the midfielder I really want us to sign. If we cannot get him then I hope it'll be because he'll stay with Leicester to play in the CL. Someone wrote earlier that the worst that can happen is him moving to Arsenal. I fully agree, they have been missing exactly his kind of player from their midfield.

 
20m buyout clause, as Merson likes to say it's a no brainier. I can see Arsenal sniffing around him though, but if the papers, pundits and fans want Arsenal to buy Kante, Wenger won't do it out of principal lol.
