Palmeiras vs Chelsea (CWC) Sat 5th July 2025 2:00 GMT

[PhilH930]

It’s becoming increasingly clear where we can improve quality of the team - it shows. Gusto, Jackson, Noni, Sanchez - not really where we need them to be.

[PhilH930]

That was either an under hit pass to Palmer or an overhit pass to Gusto.

On Enzo

True. But he followed it up with a heavy touch also. Hopefully he can put egg on my face by scoring!

[fun2sh]

How could we capitulate like this?

[Sexyfootball]

Maresca keeps getting Gusto into these central attacking positions that enable him to embarrass himself ... why oh why is he persisting with this nonsense ?

[Liam]

Liking Santos a lot

[WhiteWall]

Neto has stopped working

[Drogba1]

What do we think of Estevao so far, aside from the goal?

[Sconnie Blue]

Again another Noni cross that can’t beat first man

[Upb78]

Has their GK even touched the ball in the 2nd half??

[WhiteWall]

We have been so profligate yet again.

[dermott]

How could we capitulate like this?

Palmeiras gave us acres of space in the first half. Now they're pressing and we're looking leggy.

James, Joao Pedro, Estevao, Petrovic.

Add Caicedo for Enzo and that's looking much better already LOL

[evissy]

Enzo looks weirdly worried.

[Liam]

Quality

[Liam]

Snatch!!!!

[WhiteWall]

They're doing their subs right and they look stronger, faster and more organised than us. Maresca has 50 players and not a bugger that can come on and change the game.

[Sconnie Blue]

No card though of course not. Just prevented a clear counter

[WhiteWall]

Can we get Estevao to take this free kick

[Sconnie Blue]

Heyyy lol at that he can card a Palmeiras player!

[Sexyfootball]

Noni wins a freekick in a dangerous area.
