Rangers 2020/2021 Match Day Thread

What a lovely day. As I type I have a big grin and am reaching for a glass of whisky.

Defoe on his 800th game, a better bet than that sulky twat Morellos

Sutton isn't happy. Chris, the longer it goes on the better.

Been sent videos of Celtic fans charging at their team bud. Mental
Just watched a clip of the Celtic fans attacking their players' bus. Unbelievable.

I hope Lennon stays until at least the Old Firm game on 2 January but will the Celtic fans and/or board allow that.

Celtic have their cup final which means 3 games in hand. If you both win all your games and you win the new year game, that will be 19 points ahead.

Good point about the cup final. Hearts will be buzzing for that. 19 points would be a hell of a lead.

If Rangers won the league I would get very drunk.

It’s hard to imagine Rangers not winning every domestic trophy this season. They have conceded 3 goals in the league this year!

It would be a great achievement to win the domestic treble and the way they are playing at the moment they have every chance. As you say, only three goals conceded in the league. The defence has been brilliant. Probably the greatest improvement this season.

It would be great to have a good run in the Europa League.

I wouldn’t even care about the Europa this season. A domestic treble and automatic CL qualification will wipe Rangers 20m debt.

Celtic are already out of one cup, the league appears done in December and if Rangers draw Celtic in the Scottish cup, there’s only one team winning that fixture.

If Celtic bin Lennon though, this could change with the transfer window approaching.

It's at times like this that I regret no longer working. I worked for a Government Department in London and we had an office in East Kilbride. I would have loved to have been on the phone to Celtic fans in that office to hear their reactions. I would have to bring up the football in discussions.

I think my greatest regret about fans being barred from attending football is that we've been denied the reaction of Celtic fans as their season hits a new low every week.  It would have made great television.

Agree. It would be great to see Rangers win the title at home. However, Rangers play Celtic at Parkhead on 20 March, Can you imagine the 'Gers winning the title then and their fans are in the ground. The Sellick fans would be apoplectic.

might not need to wait for Rangers to win the league to get very drunk @Boyne    :laugh2: , this Europa League run looks like it could go much further than expected.

it's a great feeling being a Rangers fan right now

I agree, might not have to wait too long to get drunk and yes, it's a great time to be a Rangers fan. A good result last night. Loads of changes to the usual line-up but the new players easily settled in.  Has made a few bob from the Europa League and agree could go a fair way in the competition.

Have you seen the videos with Kris Boyd? Some gems including this from last night. I wonder how many Celtic fans throw objects at their TVs when they saw it.

Another win for the 'Gers. I didn't watch the game but sounds like it was a bit scrappy but a win is a win. I saw Tav's goal. What a great strike.

First goal they've conceded in the league for a while.
