Late 1950s I think..

This photo above was taken a couple of hours before Rangers v Dynamo Moscow in Nov 1945. Official crowd of 90,000. Unofficial estimates of 120,000 plus!

The remains of the Copland Road terracing roof at Ibrox Stadium after it was blown away by the high winds which hit Southern and Central Scotland in the storm which occurred early hours of the 15th January 1968. The storm brought havoc to the West of Scotland leaving 700 people homeless and 9 people dead, 16th January 1968.
The roof had only been built on the terracing 18 months earlier !

Could have posted this in a number of threads. When Chelsea played Rangers at Ibrox in 2007. Rangers won 2-0. I was at the game. The atmosphere was brilliant. Wish the two teams would play each other more often.

Miko and Dale Gordon with the Cup (I think!)
Yes, Miko and Dale Gordon.

On the train back to London the next day was Gus Caesar who had played for Airdrie. Back in the day he played for Arsenal. He got a bit of friendly stick from 'Gers fans on the train.

This banner was at the 2007 game!😀
As mentioned before went to and from the Ibrox on a Rangers supporters bus. Was staying with family in Larkhall. On arriving back in Larkhall ended up in the pub and got a bit of friendly stick. Normally disappointed to see Chelsea lose but I'll make an exception for Rangers.

Not sure if this is from before the friendly in 2007 or prior to the one in 2011. Obviously Chelsea Pensioners and I think the other lads were from the Erskine home.

Miko after scoring v Celtic on 1st January 1994.

He was a fantastic central attacking midfield player. Yet he was bafflingly played on the left side of midfield and even at times as a left winger by Rangers. When played in his true central midfield position, he showed his class.

Winning Titles with Dynamo Kiev, Sampdoria and Rangers.
Won the league 3 years running in 3 different countries

1989/90 Russian League with Dynamo Kiev
1990/91 Italian League with Sampdoria
1991/92 Scottish League with Rangers

On his debut for Rangers away at Falkirk in the autumn of 1991,he attempted a shot from the half way line and just narrowly failed to score!
