What's new

Reece James

In the summer Reece has 2 years left on his contract. BlueCo have made their position clear on players with 2 years left. Sign up or ship out.

Now Sterling is gone Reece may be our highest earner. That salary is way above the salary cap. Will they break that rule to keep him?

This. I am genuinely curious what we will do with Reece and Cucu.

Oooh I know the answer to this one.

They’ll both be sold, Reece because he’s pure profit and Cucu because he’ll be book profit.

Thanks.

Sounds like he won't be ready for the wolves game from the presser.

Should not be played, nor Neto. Roseniors own words were they had niggles and were in far too much pain for Tuesday. That sort of thing is very unlikely to be fully cleared in a few days.

In his words again he said he wont risk a players welfare for just one game.

We've also got a game against Leeds on Tuesday. Reece will likely only play one of them. Neto too.

But i thought he was just rested and there was nothing wrong with him? Can we put the tin foil hats away now?

I can’t believe they weren’t just resting our club captain in a semi final to save him for Wolves

There are many things they have done where we could say we can't believe it, but they did it anyway. Resting James in a semi final would be one of the least shocking things we have seen at this club under this ownership.

"Fitness tests"....so no confirmation of a knock then.

I don't buy it, I don't buy anything coming out of this club anymore. Players conveniently not fit in certain games then suddenly return to training the very next day completely fine because the coach is being instructed not to play them. Everything under Rosenior is the same as when we had Maresca until he got fed up with it, nothing but bullsh*t.

Wibble

According to the Chelsea update James was injured and now he's ill.

It's a bit weird that Rosenior goes and says there's no conspiracy behind RJ's absence. I didn't there was, but after him saying that now I do.

He needs to stop reading Chelsea social media accounts. Just manage the squad Liam.

I think it's more likely we sell Enzo this summer than Reece.

I dont believe in God, but if this happens and some other club can remove this floater from club, I will take some cheese to church, drink the wine and eat the bread hidden in the cupboard and ask Sharrif if I he likes it when I Rock the Kasbah...

As for Reece, I dont have an issue with him being rested for whatever reason if we're playing lower league opposition. I think its not bad decision-making by the club or doctors etc. James when fit is a game changing right back/ denfensive player. He's one of if not the best in the world. Totally unique. There is a World Cup coming on and if he's fit, starts every game there as Tuchel recognises his talent. There are a lot of games between now, the summer and then into next season. I dont want James injured so actually welcome any moves to lessen his workload.

He may think that because he isnt involved in the conspiracy theory that there isnt one. But as a paranoid man once said to me Just because im paranoid it doesnt mean everyone isnt out to get me.😂

I am Scott Harris and we should recall Nicolas Jackson immediately.

Sounds like quotes from Spartacus and the Life of Brian. I'm Spartacus. I'm Spartacus. No, I'm Spartacus. I'm Brian. No, I'm Brian and so is my wife.
