The Twatterarti pile-in on the manager situation underlined yet again what a completely unreliable source Twatter is, a lot of ignorant, ill-informed twats with too much time on their hands competing for clicks. In other words, don't believe anything you read on Twatter.

 
Goalkeepers.  We have the immense talent that is our yank in Belgium, but he needs a couple more seasons on loan at least. We have been linked with Trafford the darling of the English goalkeeping scene - in the Euro squad - he is a good ball playing keeper as he began his career as an outfield player. Maybe Kompany will take him to Munich?  [Kompany at Munich is amazing].

Anyways, the latest goalkeeper we have been linked with - and i do feel we need a grown up rather than yet another 'prospect' - is. . . drum roll please. . . .

As expected tbh. We're not getting Ederson that's for sure

 
Been linked to a few La Liga Goal Keepers recently but the club is probably just doing their due diligence in their scouting. 

- Giorgi Mamardashvili

- Filip Jörgensen

- Álvaro Valles

 
I hope we don't go anywhere near Ederson. He might be able to pass better than the average goalkeeper, but his shot stopping is worse than the average goalkeeper at the same time. 

Can we unsettle Lunin at Real Madrid ?

Presumably he'll be back to #2 there now Courtois is fit ...

Also Diogo Costa again, said to be the number 1 target with Jorgensen the secondary.

Porto have a lot of FFP issues. If they fail uefas test a second time over the next 3 years they will get banned for Euro competition, and did not make CL for next season.

Porto also want Andrey Santos on loan for 2 years. Could be a factor.

Costa min fee clause 100mill euros, speculation  is 60mill euros could be enough.

Jorgensen min fee 40mill euros.

Gallagher 50mill

Maatsen 35mill

Broja 30mill

Hutchinson 25mill

Chalobah 25mill

 With add ons maybe Broja can get near thar, otherwise his spell at fulham makes it very unlikely. Trev should be far more than that, especially with United and Newcastle both linked.

Costa looks like the stand out choice.  Perfect to replace Ederson.

Yeah that elite level of keeper made the difference for both Pep and Klopp.

If Costa is that good we should sign him, even if Maresca does not work out thr next manager won't turn down a quality keeper.
