Not only did I post the correct words for this one earlier, but on page 3 of this thread you actually replied to my post. I think dementia may be on it's way, my friend. Don't worry, I'm well on my way to senility myself, as many posters will agree :D

lmao i'm full of cold and double doseing the lemsips mabe i'm going mad............................... great chant though

Ah the ones at Spuds were always the best. Very un PC now but

We shall not, we shall not be moved,

We shall not, we shall not be moved,

Just like a y*d who's standing on a five pence piece,

We shall not be moved.

Unfortunately poor old Glenda used to get it in the years before he became our manager.

(To the 'Born is the king' tune)

Hoddle, Hoddle, Hoddle, Hoddle,

Born is the queen of Golders Green.

Away in a manger,

No crib for his bed,

The little lord Jesus,

Looked up and he said,

Hoddle is a w**ker, Hoddle is a w**ker,

lalalala

And who could forget (To Terry Jacks 'Seasons in the sun')

We had joy, we had fun,

We had Tottenham on the run,

But the joy didn't last,

Coz the bar stewards ran to fast.

:)

Can someone tell me the real text of "We shall not be moved" that was sung the last 2-3 weeks please?
We shall not

We shall not be moved

We shall not

We shall not be moved

Just like a team that's gonna win the football league*

We shall not be moved

*or a variation:

Just like a team that's gonna win the FA cup

We are mental in the head were the North Stand not the Shed

Does anyone rememer Babs big coloured guy with one arm or the two brothers selling Chelsea badges outside the shed hard as nails they were :D

Looks like he still goes this is before the 2007 FA cup game v the spuds

BEFORE THE GAME TOTTENHAM BOYS WERE SLAPPING ABOUT CHELSEA FANS, LIKE ACTUAL FANS, NOT HOOLIGANS, AND THEN THEY ASKED MY DADS FRIEND IF HE WAS CHELSEA, HE REPLIED 'OF COURSE IM CHELSEA' AND A FIGHT BROKE OUT...THE TOTTENHAM FANS WERE HELD AGAINST A WALL BEHIND POLICE AND A 'SHIELD' WAS MADE AROUND THEM BY POLICE, THEN ONE CHELSEA BOY BROKE THROUGH THE ESCORT...AND OF ALL PEOPLE IT WAS BABS, ONE ARMED BABS! THE POLICE THEN SHOUTED AT HIM TELLING HIM HE CANT DO THAT, AND BABS SIMPLY REPLIED 'WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO, HANDCUFF ME?' HE THEN SAID A FEW WORDS TO THE TOTTENHAM LOT AND WALKED AWAY :D

Seems he hasn't changed much :D Typical Tottenham though, attacking normal fans (including women and children), they've been famous for that for donkey's years.

The "real" text to "We shall not be moved" is:

We're on our way to heaven

We shall not be moved

On our way to heaven

We shall not be moved

Just like a tree that's standing by the waterside

We shall not be moved.

We're on the road to freedom

We shall not be moved

On the road to freedom

We shall not be moved

Just like a tree that's standing by the waterside

We shall not be moved.

And I think there's another verse, but I can''t remember it.

Isn't it

We shall not, we shall not be moved

We shall not, we shall not be moved

We are the team that's going to win the premier league

We shall not be moved!

I am not from England but i think this is the text of the chatt at the beggining of the video

Am i right?

There's been a few versions over the years, depends on the circumstances at the time, ie, if it's a league game, cup game, or an away game against specific opponents.

"We shall not be moved,

We shall not, we shall not be moved,

We shall not, we shall not be moved,

Just like a team that's gonna win the Football League, AGAIN!,

We shall not be moved" - repeat until exhausted

or

"We shall not be moved,

We're on our way to Wembley, and we shall not be moved,

We're on our way to Wembley, and we shall not be moved,

Just like a team that's gonna win the FA Cup, AGAIN!,

We shall not be moved" - repeat

or

"We shall not be moved,

We're on our way to Tottenham*, and we shall not be moved,

We're on our way to Tottenham, and we shall not be moved,

Just like a team that's gonna take the Park Lane end, AGAIN!,

We shall not be moved" - repeat

* - this was changed to Arsenal, West Ham or whichever team we were up against that day

Here's one I was never quite sure of. If you were there in those days, you'll know what I mean. This was a US marine's type call and refrain chant, each line sung first by a "leader" then repeated by the mob. As far as I know it was only sung by Chelsea fans, and went something like this:

Wo-oh-oh-oh Captain Jack

Meet me by the railroad track

With a bottle in your hand

Let me be your drinking man

Wo-oh-oh-oh Captain Jack

Meet me by the railroad track

With a hatchet in your hand

Let me be your stabbing man

One two three four

One two three four

One two

Three four

CHELSEA

first post so will get it off me chest....heard this tune in late 1980's in the adelaide pub, thats now gone.

'we all went to wembley one fine day in may

a crowd of supporeters all happy and gay,

and when it was over and when it was done

man utd beat benfica by four goals to one.

the first was scored when bobby out jumped the rest

their second was scored by a wee georgie best,

the stretford end shouted but I NEVER DID

and the third was scored by a young brian kidd.

the stretford end shouted for more and for more

so booby obliged them by making it four,

the team to remmember the team to recall

the great man utd the pride of them all.

they came down to chelsea in 75

and thye filled up the north stand the shed and the sides

but chelsea were a many to many to ruck

and the famous man utd got battered to fcuk.'

thats about all i can recall, there was a bit more about 'all going upto manchester in 78

and the whole of manchester were lying in wait'

its the end part i cant get, sure some bugger can fill in missing lines

soryy for any bad spelling as i have fat fingers

I've often wondered about this one and I've never heard it sung so I don't know the tune. The Chelsea in '75 verse is the only part I've seen on forums too.

i tell you who will know the whole song 'fat c**h' i put my last dollar on it

she must know every song going from year zonk.

What is that chant called which is played before most of the matches on bridge?

In the video linked below this chant is being played before start of match against Villains

http://www.footytube.com/video/Chelsea-vs-Aston-Villa-38137

The same chant on which Roman was seen clapping and Shouting "Chelsea" after we won Premier League?

I tried searching for it over torrents and ChelseaFC.com but wasnt able to find exact chant.

If possible please give link to download music file of that chant
