Oh contraire. We are massive players in the mickey mouse pre seasion warm up Club World Cup . A tournament with as much prestige and credibility as the Argyll and Bute Museum Curator of the Year World Championship

Sanchez- Absolute least of our worries. Another decent performance.

Gusto- Caught up the park way too often. Meh.

Trev- Will never be an elite defender. He’s at a decent level don’t get me wrong but we need better.

Wes-Was the only defender in the first half that looked in any way comfortable.

Josh- Not a great night for him but needs games at CB.

Caicedo- Another booking although a bit unlucky. Misses City away. Posted missing quite a bit in the first half.

Enzo- Decent enough. Should have scored another.

Garnacho- How bad was he? Both of their goals scored by his man on the back post. Never got the better of his opponent. Hopefully his brother starts tweeting again.

Palmer- Wasn’t great but give or take 5 or 6 games this calendar year he’s been distinctly average. Might be his first ever crisis of confidence just now but form is temporary and class permanent.

Estevao- I just enjoy watching him play. Puts defenders on their arses without even touching the ball. Let him loose. He’s ready.

Delap- I thought he’d be a success but it’s not happening for him. I thought he did some good stuff tonight and a better cross from Neto would have given him a goal. He’s being asked to play mostly with his back to the goal at Chelsea. That’s not his game.

Subs. All hail Reece James. The rest didn’t do much.

Maresca- Bottled the post match interviews. Knows the end is coming I think. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I’ve seen enough and he hasn’t improved the performances. Also not hearing any of the players publicly backing him this time.

And still left with an assist, imagine when he gets going

Yeah, a simple square pass to an unmarked player that slotted it. He then did absolutely f**k all for the rest of the game, other than lose his man at 2 set pieces who scored.

I know your now basically just here as a wind up, taking the piss etc, but you once were a decent poster, real shame this is what you've become.

Taking the piss for supporting our player?

But you are being selective with who you support. He was atrocious. Yes, made the assist but in the actual game he was horrific. Hence he was subbed at H/T.

Maresca isnt getting anywhere near enough out of this squad. The constant meaningless chopping and changing. Managing the minutes of key players that we can ill afford to be without. Persevering with players that are clearly not good enough.

Madness utter madness. Maresca is out of his depth.

Totally agree.

Looking at the media this evening after the game, I still have a strong sense that nobody gives the slightest sh*t about us any more, or they’re just so happy at our predicament that they won’t comment on it for fear of something changing.

Or perhaps this is what happens to a boring, mediocre team.

Exactly. We were the hate figures for so long until we then progressed to the mocked embarrassments, the gift that kept giving. Now its become the norm and the media have lost interest. The media have no interest in Bournemouth. For a man being spoken about for some of the most prestigious jobs coming up, if you believe the press, Iraola is receiving the same level of accommodation. His record at Bournemouth this season is horrendous and would be sackable at any of the clubs that he has been spoken about as a possible candidate. But none of that matters, because Bournemouth are inconsequential and therefore do not register with the press. Same here now. That is until we do eventually rid ourselves of this clown and then the buffoons in charge appoint another useless patsy in his place.

ANOTHER DELUDED IDIOT

Fofana said after the game:

“It was a tough game, a difficult game. We tried to give everything but when you concede two goals in that manner, it makes things complicated at this level.

“We just didn’t see the game out in the second half, we were making chances but didn’t score so it was difficult. But we played well tonight, we were solid even though we conceded two goals. We need to continue like this and I hope the future is good.”

WAS HE BEING SERIOUS?

It was a Glassy interview from Fofana. He demonstrated that his pride wasnt injured. He could have easily come across as a broken man.

STEP FORWARD WILLY CABALLERO

“Of course any supporter wants to have their best players on the pitch and we want to have the best players on the pitch as well, But Cole is coming from a long injury so in this case we need to find the right substitutions to go for the game and also to take care of the health of our players because we want to have them for the long period and for the rest of the season in every single game.”

GOOD TO SEE THAT WE ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE NEXT GAME RATHER THEN THE CURRANT ONE, BUT DONT WORRY WE WILL BE OUT OF ALL THE CUPS AND STRUGGLING DOWN AROUND 12TH BUT ALL THE PLAYERS WILL BE FIT AND READY TO PARTY AND GO OFF TO THE WORLD CUP

SO WHERE WAS COCO THE CLOWN WHILE ALL THIS WAS GOING ON? CHELSEA CLAIMED HE WAS SICK, MAKE OF THAT WHAT YOU WANT, BUT HE WAS SEEN GOING TO HAVE HIS MEETING WITH EGBALI AND THE SD'S....RUMOURS THAT HE IS ON VERY VERY THIN ICE AND HE COULD BE FIRED TODAY, I THINK HE WILL BE GIVEN THE CITY GAME AND THEY WILL PULL THE RUG FROM UNDER HIM IF (WHEN) WE GET BATTERED

ONE MORE THING....HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT NOT ONE JOURNALIST OR SPOKESMAN FROM THE CLUB HAS COME OUT AND SAID THE USUAL "THE CLUB HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE IN COCO THE CLOWN"

Where have I said he was good? I said he got an assist, imagine when he gets going. Gets going insinuates he isn’t currently going.

Only option is to imagine it as in three years of professional career he has never done it or remotely looked like doing it.

The only thing keeping him remotely near playimg for the first team is that the competition for that slot is piss poor as well.

Despite it having to sacrifice him a little we need to play Estevao on the left so we dont suffer from starting Garnacho and Gittens again.

If I remember correctly Garnacho made exactly the same mistake that led to Brentford's equalizer in the 2-2 draw earlier this season. From almost a carbon copy long throw.

Correct mate he did. And what’s worse he did it multiple times for Man Utd as well !!

Standard post-match waffle. Never reflects the truth. Everyone does it.

Yet Neto has done even less in 7 years in the Prem and gets POTS shouts for the same performances

Neto tapped it in at the back post from 2 yards out a few week ago and everyone said it was goal of the season btw

It really wasn’t though was it. I think you are just looking for an argument here.

I think Garnacho is a strange hill to want to die on, but then I also thought the same for Maatsen LOL
