Chelsea vs Bournemouth (PL) Tuesday 30th December 19:30 GMT

It really wasn’t though was it. I think you are just looking for an argument here.
GarnachoMozzarella looking for an argument? Surely you jest, sir.

Fofana said after the game:

“It was a tough game, a difficult game. We tried to give everything but when you concede two goals in that manner, it makes things complicated at this level.

“We just didn’t see the game out in the second half, we were making chances but didn’t score so it was difficult. But we played well tonight, we were solid even though we conceded two goals. We need to continue like this and I hope the future is good.”

WAS HE BEING SERIOUS?
See the game out??

It was 2-2 at this point.

This is classic Maresca talk.

"See the game out"

"Manage the game"

"Control the game"

All things he says when we are 1-0 with 60 minutes still to go.

When you're 2 goals ahead then you're more in the driving seat. Why can't he understand 1-0 is not a safe score, especially when you still have 30 or so minutes to go.

It's like he believes you score the first goal, pass it amongst your defenders for the rest of the match and you never lose, or even draw.

He is more like a classic 90's Italian manager than Pep.

Pep tries to outscore the opponents, Maresca worries too much about transitions to go into an attacking mode.

Having seen his driving clip on twitter i can never take anything he says with any form of seriousness.

Yet Neto has done even less in 7 years in the Prem and gets POTS shouts for the same performances
Not from me he doesn't however I fail to see how Neto being a bit sh*t is in any way an argument for Garnacho being remotely decent. Garnacho is woeful regardless of how good or bad Neto is.

Based in current form I wouldn't play either of them. If I was forced to pick one it would be Neto but my preference is Estevao on the left and Palmer in the right. Neto on bench and Garnacho in the canteen.

The only downside is the likelihood of reduced interplay between Palmer and Estevao if they are the wing options on opposite sides of the pitch. Worth a try regardless !

There is more to life than playing a game of whataboutism when the selections are three sh*t players.

STEP FORWARD WILLY CABALLERO

“Of course any supporter wants to have their best players on the pitch and we want to have the best players on the pitch as well, But Cole is coming from a long injury so in this case we need to find the right substitutions to go for the game and also to take care of the health of our players because we want to have them for the long period and for the rest of the season in every single game.”

GOOD TO SEE THAT WE ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE NEXT GAME RATHER THEN THE CURRANT ONE, BUT DONT WORRY WE WILL BE OUT OF ALL THE CUPS AND STRUGGLING DOWN AROUND 12TH BUT ALL THE PLAYERS WILL BE FIT AND READY TO PARTY AND GO OFF TO THE WORLD CUP

SO WHERE WAS COCO THE CLOWN WHILE ALL THIS WAS GOING ON? CHELSEA CLAIMED HE WAS SICK, MAKE OF THAT WHAT YOU WANT, BUT HE WAS SEEN GOING TO HAVE HIS MEETING WITH EGBALI AND THE SD'S....RUMOURS THAT HE IS ON VERY VERY THIN ICE AND HE COULD BE FIRED TODAY, I THINK HE WILL BE GIVEN THE CITY GAME AND THEY WILL PULL THE RUG FROM UNDER HIM IF (WHEN) WE GET BATTERED

ONE MORE THING....HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT NOT ONE JOURNALIST OR SPOKESMAN FROM THE CLUB HAS COME OUT AND SAID THE USUAL "THE CLUB HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE IN COCO THE CLOWN"
If he was seen going into a meeting with the board last night it probably explains why the betting odds on him being next managerial casualty plummeted since yesterday. He was at 12-1 but apparently is now at 5/4 favorite.

He has gone past Nuno and Frank very quickly as the clear favourite and we can only hope that the bookies have it right.
