FIFA 13 and PES 2013

Hazard needs to be a 5 star skiller, anything less is criminal

Thankfully that is not the final stats, they are bound to change a bit!

Game looks good though, glad about the passing being important and that you cant score finesse shots as easily.

Cahill 79? :laugh2: They've got to be joking, we get constantly underrated on Fifa it's ridiculous. I think they seem to have nerfed pace a bit much, it's still a key part in football.

 
All the ratings suck...after a few seasons your better off selling players anyway, as they age...not many of the original golden oldies left in my squad, Luiz, Cahill, Hazard, Marin, Bertrand,Lukaku, Josh,Moses, Oscar, Torres...everyone else gone.....I always find that the defence doesn't respond to the controller as fast as the forwards and I am now finding on FIFA 12 that you can more or less predict how the game is going to go based on the way the controller responds. I have lost count how many times a clear cut chance ends up being duffed or despite the opposing keepers ratings they are making unbelievable saves.....but there again I am only on the Professional level....so will things improve if I move up a level?

Improve? You won't be able to beat the game at some point, on a harder difficulty. PC will score in his only chance, and you won't score with 15 shots.

They probably won't change much now, but it's been said, they will often update the ratings based on form. Not sure how that's gonna work out, but hey, its FIFA. (Can't edit my upper post on my phone)

The Fifa13demo will be released tomorrow at 9am UK on PC, between 10am-2pm UK on Xbox 360, and between 10pm-2am UK on the PS3!

Yep, I think it's only Dortmund, City, Juventus, Arsenal and one more... Milan?

Anyhow, I hope they at least get Juventus' kits right this year, with white shorts and socks, not black.

 
Random thought, but I thought about doing some interesting scenarios for my seasons with Chelsea. I might eventually try something where I rewrite history a bit: what if we bought Aguero from Atletico 2 seasons ago, instead of Torres? Would Torres still be at LFC? Carroll at NUFC? Would City have gone after someone like Falcao from Porto then? Would we have gone after guys like Hazard and Oscar as hard if we had someone like Aguero who was scoring for fun?

Obviously we have no idea how things would've gone down, but I may shuffle around these CF's at some point and see how things play out. Anyone else have some fun scenarios to try out in the new game?

I'm gonna try playing with the exact same lineups in every game in career mode as we do in real life. It does mean I won't be able to buy or sell players though.

 
Tested Fifa13 demo yesterday. Didn't see too much difference from 12 to this but I'm gonna buy it anyway. Funny thing. We were the team of Europe last season and Fifa recognizes Messi, Milan, Dortmund but nowhere in the front is Chelsea or Chelsea-player. Have to say I was a bit disappointed.

Have to download PES demo as well but they've far from being a football simulation past years. Hope they can put some pressure on fifa in the future.

 
Playing both Demo's I have to say PES is the better of the 2 in terms of value for money.

PES has been dung since 2008 but the demo feels more like PES5/6 which is a great thing imo, also with the CL and EL included in Master League is something I can look forward to (I realise it has been in before but the game was unplayable the last few years.)

FIFA feels to me like FIFA 12.1 which for £40 odd quid isn't exactly good enough to justify that kind of price, of course there are a few improvments but essentially it just feels and plays like 12.

I may rent FIFA this year.

 
I traded in a bunch of games the other day so I am getting this Fifa "for free". The national team thing is something that I am very excited to try out though, no matter how unrealistic it is. Can't wait to be managing Chelsea and the USMNT at the same time.

Ultimate team and clubs will be abused in this game from day 1.

 
I'm gonna be picking this up next Friday most likely. It'll give me something to do over the school break at the very least.
