Neymar

No, he would need time off for his sisters birthday and we would become Neymar FC with all the baggage that comes with him.

Even Tuchel said, when he was a manager of PSG he had to manage friends and families of players.

We missed our chance years ago when we were close to signing him from Santos. That was the time to sign him not now.

Physicality means more than just fouling players. Intensity is a physical part of the game too, and Ligue 1 doesn't get anywhere near the Premier League in that area. With Neymar's injury record, I would expect him to seriously struggle with this.
A lot of the "physicality" in this league is players like Tyrone Mings, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Harry Maguire flinging themselves at players to cover up an overall lack of ability.

The first two actually make tackles though!

I'd offer a loan, with a small fee and paying about 1/3 of his wages.

Would still be our highest earner. All fun and games until he mysteriously gets injured in Dec & his out for a month and ends up soaking up the sun at the Copacabana beach. Still a No for me.

Hugest no you could ever give to signing a player.

He perfectly fits the wrong type of player.

I'd rather have Tambling at 80 up front.
Lolsssssss. Roflsssssss. Neymar ain't that bad. He is glass but of a better quality than Pulisic. And he will score goals. My fear is that he won't be able to survive the hurly burly of the EPL but if PSG are paying 3/4 of his wages, I would take him on a season long loan  without any obligation to buy, sell Pulisic and send CHO on Loan to Nottingham for a season

I say no to Neymar, no to Sterling, no to Lewandowski and any other teams cast offs.  Find me the next Hazard, De Bruyne and Salah.  We've done it before and it didn't cost a fortune.  Lets do it again, just don't give it away this time.
You would have to sack the entire incompetent scouting department first.

Taking Neymar on loan is probably going to turn out about as well as it did when we took Pato on loan ... a firm "No" from me LOL

Silva urges Neymar to come to Chelsea

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has urged Neymar to consider a move to the Blues, should he leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Reports emerged this morning that PSG have told the Brazilian attacker that he is no longer required at the French champions - and Silva admits he hopes the forward can switch to west London.

"He has to go to Chelsea," he told Brazilian outlet JG. "If it happens, it will be for the best. He needs no comments.

"So far, I don’t know anything, but I hope it comes to fruition."

I love Thiago Silva, but he should not be giving Neymar any ideas

Neymar is better than a goal every second game between barcelona and PSG. For Brazil he as scored  29 goals in 51 competitive games. Yes he is made of glass, yes he has to be motivated, but when he puts his mind to it he would be the best player on the pitch in just about every game he played in England. When he puts his mind to it.

I am not saying we should do this signing  or even that we can but he is a fantastic player when he wants to be.

Its weird. Our overwhelming need is to sign defenders and all we talk about is this winger and that winger. Beauty over brains eh.

Was sceptical of this.

But Neymar on loan makes perfect sense and would be the perfect deal providing PSG cover some of his wages.

Sterling/Raphina/Neymar in.

Pulisic/Werner/Ziyech out.

Has any club ever had such a big upgrade in a position in a single window?

We won't be completely depend on Neymar performing though he's still likely to be our best player and he can even play centrally alongside Sterling and Raphina.

Dembele will be going to PSG to replace the exiting of Neymar then?   Would we be better off with Dembele or Neymar?

Neymar is more the striker, more the no.9 that we need. I guess. Neymar comes with so much baggage though.  But he is one of the best players in the world. This could be great. . .Thiago is there to keep him in check. I guess Raphina and him have some chemistry. Tuchel knows him. It could work out.

Neymar is a reet fanny but hes at the level where you can forgive that if he turns it on and helps us to glory, Ofc the other side is, If it goes teets up it will look like an absolute calamity haha

I for one would like to see it based on the entertainment side of it, Also its a good biz decision which i think some of the OG's on here will take ages to get used to

A Ronaldo or neymar or mbappe whoever brings in more sponsor deals and money to the club

They will want a few marquees (hopefully)
