Rangers 2019/2020 Match Day Thread

Good result for the 'Gers tonight. A win would have been nice but I'm happy with a draw. Just need a draw in the next game at Ibrox to progress to the knockout stages.

Another fine result for the 'Gers today with a five-nil win over Hearts. Very tight at the top of the SPL with the lot from the dark side only leading by having scored one more goal than the 'Gers. A few tough games coming up with playing at Aberdeen in the League on Wednesday; then the League Cup Final against Celtic; and finally a Europa League match. Win all three games and Rangers fans will be very happy.

Big game on Sunday. If Rangers win I think I'll get very drunk. Whisky and beer galore!

Agree, we've been bossing it. Should be easily winning. Like you, I'm worried that we'll regret not taking the chances. I'll settle for a scrappy 1-0 win. Two of my cousins are at the game. They'll have a big swally if the 'Gers win.

Great tackle from Jack. Looked like it might go off injured.

Watching the game on BT Sport so having to listen to Chris Sutton talk a lot of drivel. He struggles to say anything complimentary about Rangers. Then again, he doesn't say too many positive things about Chelsea. Awful pundit.

it's looking like one of those days. Foster has saved about 6 certain goals and a penalty  

 
FFS. Rangers should have been home and dry by half-time. @carrickblueas you wrote, we could rue the missed chances. Forster made some great saves and have to say it was a poor penalty from Alfie. 

No doubt Chris Mutton will be joining in the celebrations in the Septic changing room. Football is a cruel sport. They had two chances and scored from one. I'm going down to the pub to drown my sorrows.

Crap weekend for football with Chelsea and Rangers losing.

However, what happens We Are The People.

 
What a fcuking travesty. Although thought  gers basically gave up after that penalty save. Lost all belief they could win after that. Can’t really blame them. Dominate, see Forster make save after save and fall behind to Celtic’s first shot on target which should have been ruled out for offside. Celtic Must have made deal with the devil.

 
Big game on Thursday, need to get back in the zone for that. Should Tav have taken the penalty? Maybe. Had we scored then I think we'd have gone on to win.

 
A great result for the 'Gers last night. Great passing and movement. The players worked hard and pressured the Hibs players. Three good goals. Great strike from Defoe for the third goal. One of the Hibs players was sent off for a terrible tackle on Barisic. Hopefully the Police and the Hibs management will punish the Hibs fans who threw stuff including a glass bottle at Barisic.

Home to Kilmarnock on Boxing Day and then away to the lot from the dark side next Sunday.

I only got to watch the highlights but it really looked like a top night for Rangers.




 
Big game tomorrow with the visit of the 'Gers to the home of the dark side. A win there would be great and what a way to end the year. I'll go to the pub to watch the match. Once the Rangers game has finished will watch the Chelsea match. So I'm hoping that there will be a Blues double tomorrow. If there are victories for the Rangers and Chelsea I suspect I'll end up very drunk. Good job I don't have to get up for work the next day.
