The FA Cup Final - Manchester City vs Chelsea Saturday 16th May 15:00 GMT

I'm also not buying that we played well because we reduced City to 1 goal. City rarely ever blow teams away in cup finals. They were feeling the nerves at times, you could see it. They made a lot of unforced errors throughout. We need to remember that they lost their last two FA Cup finals back to back. Palace worked their defence more last season.

Had we had some quality up front, we’d done them today. They barely had any chance, they took their one and that was it.

By the way their support is f**king awful, together with Arsenal, they are the worst.

 
We’ve played a lot worse than that this season. With the team City went with I thought it would be an absolute massacre, we did alright. Nothing to be ashamed of today.

The better team won.

 
That is a penalty, it looked like a pen on the ground but seeing it here is just ridiculous that they didn’t give it.

Usually it hurts more than anything to lose a final, but because of where we are as a club, I feel more numb to it now.

Completely understand. Before today I was telling myself "as long as we don't get humiliated I'll be happy".

Just found out this is our 5th wembely final loss in a row without scoring a goal.

Well we didn’t embarrass ourselves. But we offered nothing upfront. We needed a bit of quality and it was nowhere to be found. City paid for quality and that was the difference today.

In the end we did well just to still be in the game after 70 mins. And that’s about the limit of our ambition.

I keep repeating the same thing but for me this is on our sporting directors. We had no quality as much as we looked for it, and with all that money spent.

 
f**k City. They might have won today but we win when it matters - CL Final 2021 and more importantly, Full Members Cup Final 1986.

It's different than previous times for some reason. I think I have just gotten used to this club doing this.

 
The story of Sporting Directors...

They signed Cherki fot £30m + £6m potential add ons. We signed Garnacho for £40m.
Semenyo was born in Chelsea and signed to City for £64 million.
We signed Gittens for £48.5 million, with £3.5 million in add ons.
We signed Mudryck for £62 million.

It is really important to have knowledgeable Sporting Directors.
