The John Terry Appreciation Thread

It’s beggars belief we have the greatest Premier League CB of all time ‘available’ and we aren’t using him.

Our CB’s are our weakest group (People will say CM but compare both groups at full fitness) and it’s not necessarily an ability issue as opposed to a mentality one.

Get JT in, get him into these lads heads. He’d instantly get Josh & Levi more committed by just being around.

The only one that’s a lost cause is probably Fofana as I don’t think there’s much going on up there.
You'd have to imagine that there are people in football in England who know a lot more than we do, and make appointments on merit/personality/knowledge etc, than blind faith. They all can't be wrong.

Yep, there’s a list a mile long of former top level players who have failed as coaches and managers. It’s ridiculous to assume because somone used to have certain skills or qualities that they can simply pass it on to anybody at will.

I’m not sure his lack of opportunity is for an inability to get his ideas across to players. I get the feeling Terry has been blacklisted for want of a better word.

Us Plebs are unlikely to know the full story why but there definitely appears to be something going on in the background.

I mean Joey Barton got a few jobs in management ffs
