Can't believe he took Sturridge off instead of Rooney. Or even Welbeck or Henderson. Bottle job of the highest order, emperor's new clothes spring to mind.

 
A lot of players should retire from Internationals after this tournament  otherwise Woy or whoever takes up the managerial position will keep playing them till they show up with wheelchairs on the field. 

 
One of the main things Baines brings is a threat from set pieces. England get a free in a decent position and Gerrard takes it. Regardless of the position suiting a right footed player, Baines is the better option.

 
Of course that greedy c**t Looney takes the ball off Barkley 

 
This is definitely Gerrard's last tournament in my view and Roy or whoever needs to have the guts to say to Rooney "Sorry, you've had your chance, we're going to move on now".

 
Rooney, Gerrard and Johnson are our most capped players on the pitch and have been absolute bo**ocks.

Well they haven't delivered at any previous tournament, why would they start now? (Rooney's Euro 2004 aside)

 
I've been quite impressed with our overall performance. I reckon we could finish 2nd in the group. 

 
Hope all the haters (fans and in the press) who campaigned for Cole and Jt to be out of the England side for years are enjoying this
