Tyler Adams

It's either Santos goes out on loan or Gallagher gets sold.
Can't see Gallagher in the pivot alongside Enzo, but with Nkunku out for a few months, I'd keep Conor around as the back up for Chukwuemeka in the CAM role in the 4-2-3-1 ... and then look at it again in January.

Head is spun. Apparently we have activated his release clause.

Caicedo advancing.

Lavia rejected, but still in talks.

Do we get all 3? Seems a bit ott.

Enzo, Caicedo, Lavia, Adams, Santos, Chukwuemeka.

Gallagher sold,

Uguchukwu loaned to Strasbourg.

I would probably loan one of Santos and Carney too, as they point get many minutes.

I don't know much about him, but seems like a tackler, so someone who can sit a bit deeper and let Enzo and others push forward a bit more. So I'm all for it. Especially at a reasonable price.

Welcome new Captain America!

🚨 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎! Chelsea, set to sign Tyler Adams by activating £20m release clause 🔵🇺🇸

Deal in place with Leeds and agreement with the player — medical tests booked in London today for Tyler ✨

Good. Profile wise he is exactly what we need as neither Caicedo or Lavia are pure sitting DMs.

With him I like the fact he is a worker and a leader sort of like Azpilicueta. No moaning, always 100% and leading by example.

US Chelsea fans really like him as a player.

Strange one, never been overly impressed when I’ve seen him play. Maybe I’m being cynical but seems a commercial signing to me.

Just a signing to make up depth and sell jerseys. Was meant to replace kelvin Phillips at Leeds and failed.. He is  a hard worker and has good leadership qualities so I guess not bad for the price in today's market

He's going to surprise a lot of you.

- A traditional DM.

- Will be the best ball winner in the squad (even with both Lavia and Caicedo)

- A leader and presence in midfield.

He will be a player to bring on to secure a lead and a rotational option for the likes of Caicedo.

I'm not saying anything against this Adams transfer and i am not saying anything particularly for the one below but wasn't this guy Enzo's national team partner, part of the WC winning side.

If we are going for squad depth, €6m. What am i missing?

He is crap! Don’t read too much into international matches.

Issue is he will probably be on one of those daft 7yr contracts, & he was already on £57k/w at Leeds. I can imagine that will be bumped to £75k/w minimum. We have sent a 19yr old Ugochukwu who we paid a £23m which is a large fee out on loan. What happens next season?
Madrid bought Camavinga at 18 & had him training with the first team and making the odd sub appearances in his 1st year. That is how a well run club operates. We could have used the Adams money to close early on Caicedo, & have Ugochukwu shadowing him in his 1st year.

Huge wages and Adams may suit pur style and set up better?
